EDIT: so, after talking to that person who made that other AJ plushie she's given me a bunch of tips, one of which is that she makes patterns by making them out of newspaper and masking tape

modeling programs are fine for making patterns but only really work if you're fine with a lot of pieces, which I don't want

my pattern had 24 pieces, hers had 11

tl;dr I made this out of newspaper and masking tape and will be using it for the pattern. Does it look on-model enough? I need as much crit as I can get!

Well I've had a few people say it sounds like it's building up but not going anywhere, I guess I could add like a climax to it or something but I'm honestly not sure where else to take it.

Well just seen the new episode and Phoenixs are really awesome birds to be honest, and I kinda liked on Fluttershy tried to take care of the Phoenix when it was in its ash state and I felt sorry for her.

The most obvious reason why it's not popular there is most likely because it's not even airing there.

Used the program I linked in this post, don't do too many at once as it gets cluttered and impossible to do anything - though having one just wander around your desktop while you do things can be entertaining (the ones it comes with also have some behaviors specific to them too, like Rarity and Twilight may teleport randomly, other things like animations are obviously different too).
