I think Halloween has the upper hand here.

We can do something military next contest, I say we do halloween now, (after looking at all the non-undead/evil models comming in recently).

Undead soldiers maybe? Rawr... like that one movie where the soldiers were bitten and turned into zombies. That would be sweet.

In-game skins would never work for halloween models even though blizzard has undead skins. The wc3 skeleton skin is pretty stupid and wouldn't work for a halloween skeleton model

It doesn't even have to begin by Halloween (though this would be a great time to start the contest).
The fact that the idea was conceived in the right times, and the fact that it will produce practical models is good enough.

Er not really, you cant make a walking pumpkin man by a skin. Except somebody did on the helper texture contest but oh well. This would be a great theme for a modeling compo.

Halloween ones are nots useless, just becaus YOU have no use for them, but I agree there shouldnt be both a modeing one and a skinning one...
