Model does not work

I'm not an expert in this topic but since it crashes in World Editor (and nowhere else presumably) I'm presuming the animations that you have transferred do not work on the ODST model because it causes something weird to happen? Maybe you didn't name certain paths correctly? Try only transferring a few animations, the basic ones, to the ODST model and check if that works?
 
Adiktuz is right. The other part is that the model could be corrupt if you don't convert it back to .mdx though since wc3 only accepts .mdx models yet uses them as .mdl for paths after you set them in object editor (I have no idea why it's so bipolar about that heh).
