over the course of time I grew in need of tropical world of warcraft-ish land/sea creatures to eat, attack, harass and murder the innocent baby Mur'locs of my map. Intelligently, Minimage came up with the brilliant idea of stealing the world of war craft shark. there are plenty of sharks on the hive, but none where anatomically correct enough for me (I'm very picky). so I asked him for a good shark mesh, and he came up with that shark as an answer.

But I didn't like the WoW animations, so many animations where choppy, loose, bones floated around and animations had glitchy as F**K frames, dubbed the Derp Shark by him, little by little starting from ‎June ‎27th ‎2013 we worked on this model bit by bit. first he built and UV Wrapped a great brand new mesh, then over a long time I edited the mesh and tweaked every single bone until every thing was perfect. I spent about 3 months working on the emitters alone. and then all the rest of that years time was just animating.

comes with 20 animations, which go as follows:

Stand 1 -Tan Shark Sits Idle
Walk -Tan Shark Cruises at Medium Speed
Walk Fast -Tan Shark Cruises at Fast Speed
Attack -Tan Shark Jumps Forward Teeth Gnashing Jaws Popping out
Death -Tan Shark Dies
Decay -Tan Sharks Body Sinks
Spell First -Tan Shark Submerges
Spell Second -Tan Shark Breaches Impacting anything on top of its origin like an impale art
Spell Third -Tan Shark Leaps high into the air off his origin and lands on top of his origin
Portrait -Shows the Tan Sharks face in the portrait window displaying ragged meat in his mouth as he cruises deep beneath the waves.

This model was a lot of work on both my and MiniMages behalf's, Please Give Full Credit to both me AND HIM!!.

The death time seconds is 2.667 so set that on you're unit/hero.

The Tan shark is the standard model and the Purple shark can be accessed with the ''Alternate'' animation tag in the unit data editor.

NOTE: this model was optimized for the deepest possible shallow water before naval pathing is activated, and like all naval models, will suffer harsh vertex clipping in very shallow water/land. this is not something I can or plan to fix. so take note of that. the shark looks great when using water done my style like in my tutorial:

because hes fully visible at all times which is just so neat.

Suggested Size is 0.85 to 1.05 the reasoning behind that is if its too small the water rings look badly compact and if its made too big the sharks emitters start to get too spread out and his body starts to come out of the water along his sharp narrow spine AND also suffers worse vertex clipping in the ground.

Unlike most of my other works in which i do not care, please do not adapt, change, or modify this resource without both my AND minimages permission, and do not submit this resource any where else.

give credits if used in your map, give credits to me in the form of a mur'loc named ''kellym0''- ''the god of mur'locs'' seriously guys lets make this a thing.

Update 1: added more to the screen shot.

Update 2: fixed the teeth problem and worked one emitter that broke somehow.

Update 3: found out why the emitter broke, fixed it again

Just do as kellym0 instructed and it'll look better. I did test it without it myself as well, and it works just fine that way too.
 
And to those skinners out there, who are thinking about making a skin for the shark, I'v already started the undead shark skin, called ''ZombieShark'' and will have a separate version of this model just for it, so don't bother its started already.

if how ever you come up with an excellent skin I may create a version just for it -- this is a call out to all skinners to do their best to impress me

@ Misha - the teeth had a lot of work put into them. they are all strait, they all don't clip with each other and there are 3 rows for top and bottom, meant to be like real sharks with endless rows of teeth. they show up better in the portrait, which was their purpose, along with the other pieces of meat jammed in and hanging off the teeth.

@ Edge45 - the eyes are hard to work with, they are pixely and stretched, my goal was to keep them round, which I think we achieved quite well.

Can you add pelvic fins? I'm a perfectionist in terms of anatomy. Haha. This one looks realistic. The teeth are very detailed and intricate.
