Puzzle & Mystery
Contestants are challenged to create Puzzle mini map for Warcraft 3 game that will be full of Mystery.
Contestants are free to pick and work on any map type (defense, RPG... without cinematic and terrain/template maps) as long as they bring mystery feeling into it.
Show us unique riddles, cool puzzles and awesome gameplay.
Concept (Base)
5/10
You may have followed the Puzzle Theme,
but your map lacks mystery unfortunately.
Concept (Puzzling)
23/30
The maze was really fun to navigate through,
and its difficulty is decent enough. Some ideas
were cliche, so you lost a few points here.
Concept (Mystery)
5/30
I see absolutely NO mysteries in this minigame.
Unfortunately, this has greatly put an impact on
your score.
Going Green
10/10
With a filesize under 100KB, this thing would get
a 9.5/10, and since you made great use of the
limited space, I'm giving you a full score.
Playability
9/10
You have one bug: Dead spiders can still kill me.
The game is 100% lag free, so I'm giving you a 9/10.
Aesthetics
4/10
The terrain was very plain thus causing the
environment you were trying to create very "generic".
Total Score

Concept (Base)

Your map perfectly follows both the "mystery" and the "puzzle" theme. There's
nothing more I could say. 10/10!
Concept (Puzzling)
27/30
There were several puzzles in the map. Most of them were fun. They were
presented excellently and they contributed to the sinusoidal flow that I
enjoyed while playing. Also, what contributed to your score was the fact
that all the puzzles were different.
Concept (Mystery)
25/30
The mystery was as good as it gets for Warcraft III. It was presented very
well, everytime a new question is answered, my questions grow exponentially.
Good Job!
Going Green

You could've utilized the empty space better, but I can't give you a low score
because the kind of terrain you invoked required you to spread out, so I'm going to
give you a passing score.
Playability
10/10
No bugs, No lag
Aesthetics
9/10
The terrain was amazing, you smartly used the priests particle emittors to pose
as a light source, and the darkness helped the theme. Unfortunately there were
some grammatical errors in the cinematics..
Total Score
86/100
Concept (Base)
10/10
Your map was by far the best when it comes to following the themes
of mystery and puzzles
Concept (Puzzling)
25/30
The puzzles were simple, but since they were presented so well, you
deserve a good score.
Concept (Mystery)
30/30
The fact that I had no idea what was going on .. it increased your score..
After the Goblin appeared, I had way too many questions.. then, suddenly,
a golem appeared and I was like .. "WTH". Also, the spiders in the 2nd room
were very misleading.. that added a few points to your score because the more
you mislead us, the greater the mystery.
Going Green
3/10
You used 3/10 of the map, so I'm giving you a 3/10.. lol
Your random use of imports (The creature) gave you a score less
than 5/10 too...
Playability
4/10
Your map has no lag, but unfortunately, since it cant be won (or finished),
you're losing points here..
Aesthetics
10/10
Your map was the best among all the others in the field of aesthetics even though
you had grammatical errors.
Total Score
82/100
Concept (Base)
5/10
Your map followed the "puzzle" theme, but .. well, there's no mystery...
Concept (Puzzling)
15/30
Puzzles were present, unfortunately, they were static and very simple.
After playing the map once, you'd know where everything is and you can
win very easily.
Concept (Mystery)
5/30
...There was no mystery...
Going Green
7/10
You used the map space excellently, but unfortunately, the map file size could've
been much smaller, so that's -3
Playability
8/10
Your map has no lag and no bugs, but what's stopping me from giving you a full
score is your spawn system. If you continuously spawn units, you can create
tons of lag for users with weak PCs.
Aesthetics
6/10
The terrain really needs to be improved.
Total Score
46/100
Concept (Base)
10/10
Your map followed both themes very well
Concept (Puzzling)
28/30
Puzzles were practically everywhere man.. My favorite was the "Trashed Floor".
That is just pure genius in the field of originality. Excellent! Or as we say
in Lebanon: "Momtaz! Ilal amam!"
Concept (Mystery)
18/30
There was some sort of mystery going on. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear.
Going Green
9/10
The map space was fully utilized, but the file size could've been less by just a smitch.
Playability
10/10
Your map has no bugs and no lag.
Aesthetics
8/10
The terrain needed a 'slight' improvement and some errors (grammatical) need to be fixed.
Total Score
83/100
Concept (Base)
10/10
The puzzle theme was followed and a mystery was present.
Concept (Puzzling)
29/30
Your puzzles were amazing. They're so creative, and they actually required
some time and thinking. Excellent!
Concept (Mystery)
15/30
Well, there was no mystery, but there was fear and anxiety for what's
going to happen.
Going Green
9.5/10
The map space was utilized perfectly and the file size was very good.
Playability
9/10
There were no bugs, but at one point, I felt the map lag epicly for about a second
while walking through the hall right after the spawn point. This happened everytime
I played your map, so I'm assuming something huge is being initialized. Here's a
tip: Leave all the heavy stuff for map initialization.
Aesthetics
9.5/10
Your terrain was perfect, but you mispelled "Unlocked" and you had a few grammatical errors.
Total Score
82/100
Concept (Base)
2/10
No comment.. You didn't follow any of themes..
Concept (Puzzling)
3/30
No puzzles, no nothing..
Concept (Mystery)
3/30
No mystery, but the green effects helped the environment and mood I guess..
Going Green
10/10
The map space was utilized perfectly and the file size was good.
Playability
10/10
No lag was present and no bugs were found..
Aesthetics
5/10
The terrain was plain.. It needs some improvement.
