Misha: Hm.. i like this model but it has too many flaws, like mesh clipping and distortion in animation, really too high amount of polygons, unneeded custom texture, not really connected parts like his fatty face or the mount's legs. and there are some animations where he clips off his mount to attack or cast a spell. Death animation is funky to him as well

Thank you for your comment.

I have some experience editing model, but it is the first model I design and develop. I used custom textures because my MDLVIS cant read textures, and i dont know how to solve this. Anyway, you can see I a bit clumsy in textures, and it is a point I need improve. Im glad that u like the model n_n

pretty sound concept. i like the fat naga riding a dinosaur thing. but you gotta work on your mesh. right now there's clipping everywhere. also, your model's not properly rigged. the legs of the naga moves along with the pelvis. its not supposed to be like that. and, the weapon should be attached to the right arm, since the particles are rigged there.

Or you can simply move the particle emiiters attachment point. And as grendel said the mesh still needs some work. Over all not a bad idea, but you can still spent some time working on it.
And what is your exact problem with mdlvis? Does it have a problem with readind imported textures, or what? If you can describe it maybe i can help.

Im trying to solve the problem with mdlvis, but if i cant i will ask u JokeMaster, thank you. About the staff, i put it on offhand, cause it is a ceremonial staff, and not used to channel magic power. U can edit it and put it on right hand if u want.

About more work on mesh, i know. Im so newbie anyway and I have lot of thing to learn (mainly about textures, mesh and animation). When i have more experience, ill try to improve it.

Thank you for the comments and tips :)

So...your trying to steal my lizardman monopoly I have on the Hive?? :vw_unimpressed: Nah, its cool, I really haven't been basing my lizardmen off Warhammer anyway. I could see it being useful for people who have Warhammer projects in mind. Wrap cud use a little work.

A model as complex as this and with this quality would have an acceptable file size of 200-300 kb. Above 300 is pushing it. Anything above 400 for this model is way too high, and anything below 200 for this model is great.

There are some models that are exceptions, but only because of how insanely epic they are.

Because of the file size, this will have to receive a 2/5 from me. If you get it below 400 kb, that will raise to a 3/5, and if you get it below 300 kb that will raise to a 4/5.
