As far as I know and understand the problem, this is a simple model edit ( export and re-import)

Open the model in Magos, go to the Node Manager, search for an object with a little lamp as symbol, double click on it and there is a field called 'Intensity', if you edit this field it should increase the brightness.

Alternately, you could try to stack the model, but be aware that a model with different stand animations will look odd then.

It is not recommended to change the intensity of omni-light sources, as this will bug up the light engine of Warcraft III.
The game only renders light sources that use the same intensity. If only one light source uses a different intensity, once it is viewed, it will cause all other light sources not to display their omnis any longer.

Instead, you can use the color to "dim down" a light if you want a lower intensity than the default, by making the color darker.

And to answer the question of the TO: directional light is implemented in Warcraft, but doesn't work. Only Omnis do.

He only wanted certain parts to be highlighted, not the whole model.

The light ray move in one direction.

Oh, you mean like a very bright reflection ?

I don't think Warcraft supports this kind of light by default.
If it is for a cinematic there are easy ways. For in-game cam, hu, I don't know.
