Lantern Festival - Owl-keeping

It's simpler even than the first tamagochi.

There's only one view; why not be able to see where the owl flies and what it does?
The owl flies lower than the girl.

It needs more diversity to make it a good or appropriate game.

1. How long does cutting the tree minigame last? Would be nice to have more camera shots there either automatically changing or manually.
2. It's hard to even see anything while hunting. You should be seeing the ground to be able to use Devour on critter. The camera should have an angle towards the soil. You could make the hunting area larger running across a river, plane or something to even hunt birds or flying insects.
3. I don't see any lanterns. The camera and controls in that minigame are bad. Finally saw them somewhere across the river/lake almost behind a cliff/mountain to the right...
4. Tried the hunting minigame the second time after clicking the poem and the owl did not appear.

You should make all these games connected. Gain something from each to make the owl or something better, somewhat in an RPG manner.

1. Maybe I should've included manual on tree-cutting. Perhaps i've uploaded a wrong version of map. I'll check later. Back at the main console, you can upgrade his axe. The future plans are:
a. improve chance to gain lumber.
b. maybe include some challenges as he chops. Perhaps a distraction and the player must prevent it.

2. My primary objective to set that camera was not to let the player find that critter easily. Hmm, I'll try to lower the cam. Hunting birds and insects were my idea too, but I've discarded it because flying prey is too hard to catch. But since it could be fun, I'll add them.

3. It was my intention to let the lanterns drift from afar. Cameras and controls? Maybe the lanterns should be made clickable nearer to the player. I intend to create a majestic scene where hundreds of lanterns are drifting on the river.

4. Huh? OK, I'll fix that soon.

Connected? Hmm, I'll think of a way, so far the games are discrete but provides a way to prevent the owl from starving.
Lanterns - provide gold to 'buy' food
Hunting - provide food stocks to feed
Tree - provide lumber for upgrades (<-- yeah, this one is the serious odd one out, in terms of connecting different elements)

Alright, I have some slight inkling, but got no good ideas so far. The later version include three new abilities, granted each when the axe is upgraded. Still, the game is disconnected from the overall theme of owl-keeping.

Well, now the Owl will start from Egg and grow to adulthood! =D (that's a wee bit of good news, I think?)

I tried the lantern show again and the camera is still annoying. Why not just have it fixed somewhere or do somehow so that lanterns appear in all four cardinals so you'd have to turn to click/select them.
Then, the feed doesn't work. Maybe you changed the way the ability is supposed to work now?
Then tried hunting and the owl did not appear.

What do you mean by feeding doesn't work?
OK, hunting problem again? I've tested and it seems fine. I'll look into it again.

It tells me that the food cannot be given or something like that. I might be doing something wrong in case you've changed the ability since the first time.

OK, check the following:
1) is there sufficient gold and food? At least 10 Gold is required. Each feeding process will consume 1 food.
2) is your owl resting on a tree? if your owl is sent flying, you can't feed it.

I had at least 80 gold coins. How do I get food? Do I have to hunt first?

Yea, you have to hunt for food stocks. But you said the hunting game is... flawed. Sigh, I'll look into it again... cuz in my computer it works fine...

Tested the map, the terrain is nice. Your landscrape looks beautiful but the map has some bugs in the gameplay. When you start hunting you're suddenly stucked and you can't do anything in the game anymore. And there was another situation where you are in that parvillion and you can run around a bit. But nothing happens at all there. That's why i won't give a rating yet.

Actually, they are under the description and above the green Map Info button, somewhere to the left. It's a tab called Previews written in some yellowish colour.

Tested the map, the terrain is nice. Your landscrape looks beautiful but the map has some bugs in the gameplay. When you start hunting you're suddenly stucked and you can't do anything in the game anymore. And there was another situation where you are in that parvillion and you can run around a bit. But nothing happens at all there. That's why i won't give a rating yet.

Yes, I am working on it. Having trouble with my time management lately. Work is still catching up on me =(
