How to stop Warcraft from re-downloading default melee maps?

I moved the default melee maps to another folder and categorized them but Warcraft re-downloads the maps right into the 'maps' folder, as well as maps>frozenthrone.

Is there a way to stop it from re-installing the maps? I want to keep my maps categorized & not keep all of the default melee maps, i like some of them but the ones i don't i simply don't want on my computer.

Wtf, really? When exactly does it re-download the maps?

I remember some years ago, I once deleted all default maps, and it worked just normaly.

I don't know, its not re-downloading them now... It used to happen every time I launched Warcraft. It would detect that the maps are missing and would install them, its fine now for some reason, thanks though.
