Obviously there is no space in the tag declaration, it is purely there so they do not parse. They also seem to only work for English localized GUI (or at least work best with).

That tag is missing from the UI as far as I can see and Google once again fails to give you help. It goes straight into technical documents about programming tags... Yes I did not know the exact name, how on earth am I meant to find out what it is called unless I know it already?

yes, many many tags are not on the UI, and how are you supposed to know? Well, by someone(in this case me) telling you of course
