A good recreation of a wc1 object into wc3. Great job.

Makes me think: How did they get into their buildings without any door?

Do you think you could maybe make it more War3ish? I mean i could understand it having no door in a 2d space, but war3 is 3d. No door is weird.

Hmm, good point. I'll maybe add the door from the WC3 great hall.

Awesome! Hope you continue this line of buildings, as they are also very useful for Maghar.

Hey, I'd love if you'd add a normal Orcs & Human version for these models as well.

@deepstrasz You mean without the base/walls and original rotation?

Thanks! I'm planning to do the whole WC1 tech tree, but no promises :p

Yes, without any WcIII remnants. As close to the original as possible.

Sure, shouldn't be a problem. And what about the birth and work animations? I guess the work stuff is fine, but give orc buildings a more WC3 human style birth?

As you wish. If you prefer it more like the original, that would be fine.
From the looks of the model viewer, the model seems a bit flat.

Nah I'll just leave it then. Not sure when I'll get around to it.
Do you think it looks flat because of the texture or the model itself?

The model itself. Again, in the Model Viewer. Did not test it ingame.
Compare it to the original/concept work.

I adjust it a bit. Do you think it's ok now or does it still look flat?

@loktar I think i know what @deepstrasz means by it being "flat". I would compare it to the war3 Peons and make way bigger and taller(as tall the peons or maybe a bit taller). Then i would probably remove the Orc foundation and make a custom foundation or maybe even add extended walls beneath the building itself. Like the Altar of Storms.

However this is just a guess.

@deepstrasz @Mister_Haudrauf hmmm right, it does look very small compared to peons.
I'm making a new version with a more detailed donut shape, and making it as tall as my WC1 town hall.
I'm gonna keep the orc foundation I think, but I'll make a "purist" version (no foundation and WC1 rotation).

edit: @deepstrasz @Mister_Haudrauf sorry for the spam, but how about this?:
    gh2.jpg

I think I'll switch the chimney things. Still need to add back the TC stuff, and add some kind of entrance.
