Full Metal Jacket was a GREAT movie ^^ good choice Formula1

Well, my favourite movie is the Danish version of Nightwatch (in danish: "Nattevagten" - damn you Buena Vista Home Entertainment, for taking this idea and mock it to shreds >_<) - My favourite american produktion, must be The Shining - the version directed by Stephen King himself

The best movie I've ever seen... hmm, that's a good question, cuz I know much very good movies. But I'd say: the LOTR Trilogy, Apocalypse Now Redux, Alien Quadrology, most Star Wars movies, some others, but I don't remember, cuz they're too many...

I saw I robot yesterday and I think it was great. I have only heard bad things about it.

Other great movies is the Taxi trilogy. They are making an stupid Hollywood copy of it with Queen Latifah playing the maincharacter, it sucks. It's almost an exact copy, can't they do anything themself do they have to steal the only french movie that I like.

The best anime is Hellsing.

Ugh, Dawn of the Dead sucks, theres no plot at all, the woman just wakes up and suddenly zombies are everywhere...it sucked. Except for the part with the fat, fast zombie. That was funny. :p

My favs include, LOTR(all 3), Matrix(all 3), Star Wars(all 6), and Van Helsing.

Last Samurai was a great movie.

Tuesdays with Maurie is about the best movie I've ever seen. For those of you who haven't seen it, it's about a college professor who contracts a rare disease and is going to die. One of his old students who he used to be very close to goes to see him and he helps him with problems in his career and his relationship, he goes to see Maurie every tuesday and records all the talks they have. Then Maurie dies shortly after his student proposes to his girlfriend. It's a really sad movie with alot of life lessons in it. I recommend everyone to watch it.

I gotta add this one, just saw it today (like 30 min. ago)

DREAMCATCHER based on the book by Stephen King. SciFi/Thriller includes aliens with parasittic tendencies, only, telepathic/spiritual/magic(?) abilities, GREAT casting and acting, awesome sfx! And besides, I think the design of the aliens is damn cool!

Btw. the greatest crazy comedy (still) is The Mask ^^

@Tari - uuuhm... no seriously.... LOLA RENT? >_< That movie was so goddamn bad casted, let alone the lack of sole quality - I mean, come on! LOLA really can not act! If I am to choose a germann production, I would say "Good bye Lenin" - way better, booyoka, 'nuff said! :p

@Juice_F - BOYOOKA! Yeah, the Anime Hellsing rox ^^ If you like anime action like this (violent and filled with mystique), check out Ninja Scroll too! Its freakin awesome

Yah, well whatever. It was back in 1992...That I won the worlds worst speller award. Still Samurai X is a Japanise anamay moive. Its baced of Ruroini Kenshin but is more relalistic and meningful. Its about when kenshin was the man slayer. The movie even shows how he got his X shaped scar.[/b]

The best movie of all time was Aliens, if anyone doesn't know, it was the sequel to Alien which was also an amazing movie. But are my favourites in order:
Aliens
Alien
Predator
Alien Ressurection
Predator 2
Alien 3 (Special Edition)
Terminator
Terminator 2
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 2

And thats all I can think of at the moment. But I have to say that Terminator 3 was a huge disapointment. The only good scene was when Arnold was hanging on to the pick-up trucks arm while the chick terminator drove it through the stores and what-not.

think we have moviemonster/action/thriller geek in here

Allwighty, I better promote this little gidget then, the ultimate thriller, only, laid back with the action. Its hells creepy, really makes you vomit - if you can comprehend it!

Dogville!

Unfortunately it is a very long movie, but after seing it, you don't want to be human anymore, cause those suck!

@Formula1 - LoL wtf is that s'posed to mean? xD You smell her odor across states and whatnot? Yuckie!

@GreyArchon - be nice xD I get the idea that it excites you to mess with ppl who are so obvious, but it gets kindda random

And aah... if anyone havn't seen it yet, get your asses up in gear and watch American Beauty! Boyooka ^^

Dogville is of equal lenght... and has no special effects whatsoever, let alone different scenes. Everything happens inside a barn, where some kid (or perhaps the movie crew) has drawn houses and buildings in chalk OO; and the props are very limited, everything in the movie is lifted by the actors abillity to, well, act :p

Kill Bill is amazing, and Reservoir Dogs was astounding. Quentin Tarantino is a genius, and I'm hoping for another one of his movies to come out soon. Another great director, whose new movie I'm looking forward to (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is Tim Burton; I can't think of one movie he did that wasn't good. Oh, and I can't forget Team America: World Police. Sure, it was possibly the dumbest movie ever, but it was also one of the funniest movies ever.
