If any one know how to solve that vector maths stuff, I'll give rep.

Take any jump and reduce the x and y velocities on every iteration.
That makes no sense of course since it's physically not realistic, but whatever.

What do you mean? It's just deacceleration..

People don't tend to change their velocities in the air (aside from friction with the air itself)...unless maybe they have some booster on them or something.

Gravity will cause the velocity to change too.. Free fall.
