Diablo III Warcraft Beta v1.19b



This map has been based on the Diablo III Gameplay Video. You may even recognise a few of the in-game events if you've seen it! Please remember that this is a beta version, and may still contain bugs. Anyone can host this online, just let me know if you find any major flaws in the game :)

Based on what is available in the WC map edit in comparison to what we've seen in the trailer/game play demos the map looks as close as its really ever going to get.

Sorry to dissapoint you but your Wrong. You can do almost anything in world editor.
We can make it much clooser but we choosed to keep it as it is.

It won't help that much. They are buggy most of the times so it's not worth it. Better remove them manually its not like they are so much it's just that they are a big % of the overall triggers.

The revive potion used to stack and no longer can be stacked in 1.11.
Is this designed like this?

As a witch doctor, I can attack the 3rd boss behind the gate and that created a copy of the boss by the gate, after the boss was defeated I could break the gate and pickup drop but can't be teleported.

That doesnt seem right :O
Thousand pounder doesnt spawn until you enter the room.
And isnt it Zombie, Murloc, Skeleton King, Abomination or something :O
There is a zombie boss befor Murloc but not many people notice that there is one zombie that is much stronger then the others. He is right befor the trap room.

DeathsBrother, It does count as a boss. He isnt strong becouse its at the early part of the map.
And i dont think he mean giant abomination becouse he doesnt spawn befor you enter the room.
Super-Sheep, o.o Really? :O When i played we owned void fast like hell, but it took a while to kill Tyrael.

Guess whos back? :D

Soz for the lack of updates all :) Ive been away from uni for the past few days, and didnt really want to spend my time at home making a warcraft map :S

But the point is, im here! So updates will now continue as normal :D

Btw, the VoidWalker has 1k dmg, but its spell damage which means after the armour reductions, it deals like 300 per hit :) With at least one good healer on the team, its easy enough :D

Could anyone answear my question? Would it be better with Psycial damage and then set it to a fair amount? :eek:

And even if you got plenty of time to heal, its better if he attacks fast and does low damage becouse. If you have 260 health and you get attacked, your dead. No time to heal. But if it does low damage, you would get like 210 - 170 - 120 - 60 - 10 - 0 insted, and that is alot of time to get ready to heal.

mmm... its true, he does have high damage and he also has a longer cooldown than most of the bosses :) The reason for this is that ive tried to vary the types of encounters a bit :) The game would get rather repetative if all the encounters dealth the same type of damage, with the same cooldowns etc :)

Hes an optional boss anyways :) So if you lacking a healer, you can always miss him out :)

I have to agree with Khaine. Its too easy to win, I won with a friend...
He was the barbarian and i was the Witch Doctor. But otherwise, it was great ! Had great time... It gives you a REALY GOOD XP!! Love it!

Its fun to know that you like it that much ^^

And yes, its to easy >.< The map is made for 6 players and it gets kinda inbalanced when you play 2 players for example.

You can always use dialogs. So when you choosed barbarian, a dialog would pop up, and ask wich gender.

Thats not what we mean.
Making a model/skin for different gender would take up alot of space. We only got like 400kb left in the map, and after my Inventory is done we maybe only have 150kb left. And a hero model normaly takes 200kb and a skin maybe 150kb. And we need some space as blizzard reveals new classes.

That is so unecessary. :/

Yes it is really THAT big. If it gets over 4 MB, you cant host it online.
This means that we can only add 260 kb.
And we will loose 200/300 kb by importing my inventory. So we will even have to delete imported stuff...

Or just make the map protected? Later on, it will be needed to protect, otherwise people will find out how to cheat your own save/load codes, when we add that.
And make big projects open source normaly ends out bad, people make false versions and host them on battle.net which dostroys the fun :S
But for now, we can keep it Unprotected.
I dont want all to have acces to my inventory system since its specialy made for this map.

Its "Practically" been relieved, Take that people who think Tyrael gets corrupt.
Those who had attended the Blizzard WWI thing, got a exclusive pet in WoW, This pet is called "Tyrael"

The angel is not Imperious (Or whatever) The Archangel of war, Like I thought,
Its actually Tyrael, he just decided to put on some armor.

So this might not Prove to some that he doesn't go corrupt,
But I think its proof enough for me.
Besides Tyrael looks bad ass now.

how did you make it so the camera angles change when at certain views of the map? also, how did you make it so the camera angle is always on an angle like that?

oh, and by the way, this map is amazing. this is my favorite wc3 map ever. you did an amazing job on it. i beat it with a full group of clan members. excellent work!!!

Legend. Absolute Legend. You put Blizzard-made maps to shame.

Terrain is awesome, and so are the custom-made models. Icon art is also very good, and overall, and yes, I'm not gonna stop with the praise.

You are up there with Med.MapGuy, and all the map-making legends.

Whens the next ver. comming out?!

I guess it will take some time.
I will not have warcraft 3 until next week since im at my dad for the entire week. But i dont know about CW, maybe he also have vacation this week, not sure about it.
And damn... we was a little to fast of releasing new versions befor. now people think that it comes one version every second day, but we wont do like that now. Now we will put more effort into the map and hopfully fix as much as possible befor releasing new versions.
This is how i think we will do in the future, CW may have other plans.

You are up there with Med.MapGuy, and all the map-making legends.
If you just knew my friend. ;D
To be honest its just CW, Me, The_Silent and redscores here. We dont know where the others are, but we will keep searching!
