Dark ice Mountain

This is Darkice Mountain from my Epic Fantasy World: Oblivion, and also my first Terrain post.
I used soften portait to give the effect, what do you guys think?

Sorry, from paint.net a photo editing progrm it just give a nice sheen.

Well if you post terrains here I personally think that you shouldn't edit them with some programs >_>

Nah it's not against the rules. Most terrainers pride themselves in how good terrains they can make without image editing though... >.>

So do I. Well, for the most part, I find you get less rep if you use photoshop unless you post it on thehelper where people don't know the difference

Terrain is art, there shouldn't be anything wrong with photo manipulation. More often than not people overdo it though. In this case the effect is really nice.

Yeah i agree i suppose anyone could make thier stuff look good using editing, i'll finish Playing wow at 10.30 then ill upload more stuff, unedited

It seems that you can make something like that with the sunflare model in the UTM.

With image editing. WC3 doesnt allow that actual smoothness etc.
