Ugh, that happend to me once. I had to stay up late typing a paper for school on my dad's computer, and it deleted it right after I finished it.

I had a strong desire to kill the nearest living thing.

Luckily I had written out a rough-draft, so I got one of my fast-typing friends to type it the next morning.^^

The moral of the story is to always save your work, just in case. But I got revenge on the evil computer by downloading Kazaa onto it.

muahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

When I used to have dial-up, I was downloading TTOA for 4 hours, and just when there were 3 minutes left, I accidentally knock out the phone jack   . Another time I spent like 4 hours torrenting TTOR 3.22, and I put the file in the facking wrong directory, so it was never saved

well i was typing a story for my lit test and i was on the 30th chapter, yea i had written 30 chapters, it was supposed to be a 45 chapter story with 20-30 10 complete sentece paragraphs, i decided to save it, and then *bewhooooooo...* power cuts off cuz of a damn fuse blow out, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF SAVING IT!, so i had to explain what happend the next day, and she was like, well you can type it again but i dont really belive you so you will only get half credit if you do it....

but then my mom called saying that it was true and i got full credit

oh and i had to do 100 problems as a *study reference* for my finals, and... DAMN PUPPY CHEWS IT TO BITS, so i tell my lit teacher, and she was all like were is your study reference, i was like my dog ate it, she said... look you are in the 11th grade there should be NO excuses, i mean 2 weeks ago you had that computer thing now this, either this is a scam or your just proned to bad things, and she calls my mom and i get grounded, untill i show her the chewed up bits when she gets home...

so yea...

While editing my video tech. semester project for about 5 hours, suddenly movie maker has a 'critical error' and closes itself. I reopen it and realise all my work is gone. So I do it all again, try to write it back to the camera and I can't because there is not enough space on my C drive. I needed to free up about 9gigs to make room. The project is due the next day so, I delete all my music and games. This makes room, I attempt to write it all again, and I get the message file system Fat32 does not allow file sizes over 4gig. So I start to break the movie into segments, as I'm doing this at midnight and am stressed to the breaking point, I screw up and resave one of them twice and ended up losing my copy of the whole video. So now with my 7 segments I keep going on and get them all cut to the right points and then... oh no my file size is still over 4 gigs. So I remake the video for the third time but by now I'm pretty good at it so it only takes 2 hours. This time I make 2 back up copies of my folder and name them DONOTSAVEOVER, and then break it into 14 segments and finally start transfrering to the camera at 3:30AM. Now I go to get on my other comp to start printing up all my paperwork. But... it was in the folder with my music. So I start to type up my papers and dont bother to check on the video progress. So I go back and it had errored about 45 minutes before I come in so I restart it and go back to typing. After dozing off a couple times I finally get all my papers typed and video transferred back to the camera at 7:00 AM. Now the video which happens to be 2 hours long obviously would require 2 hours to transfer to a VHS (part of the criteria) So I pop the VHS in and start to record and I watch the whole thing and realise that after the end of every 14 of my segments it plays the credits. My video finishes at 9:30 AM and I have alreaedy missed 1st period and half of second, so I drive to school real fast drop my video off come back home and go to sleep. That was the longest night I ever had.
