The whole thing with saying 'I'm [x] amount of rep away from [y] gem!' is kinda on the border of rulebreaking, but since a such statement might actually just be a statement they cant really go around and punish people for saying it.

dont you think thats a little over enthusiastic? In a few years his sigs will probably be 10x better. If he decided to stick with it and learn more and better techniques. And incorporate more freehand making it look even more awesome
