Starting off: the Duelist, originally intended to be the Tier-1 melee unit for a faction of ruthless city-dwelling Blood Elves. Might get promoted to a Hero, we'll see :grin: Currently 758 Polygons.

Quick update on the texture, a few things need fixing but I could probably move onto animation at this point and polish it afterwards.

Woah hey, that was quick. Why should I expect anything less, though?

I have to admit, I really loved the mesh but I'm not feeling that texture. Or perhaps better to say "I agree with JesusHipster"; it's really excellent as usual but edging further into "not-so-Warcrafty" to me. Not sure what it is; each individual component (pauldron, sword, chest, skirt, head, etc) looks 'right', but all together (& especially lined up next to the other in-game Blood Elves), it just seems really glaring to me somehow. Far be it from me to offer artistic critique but... Too detailed (chest esp.)? Not enough high contrast?

Once again, however, you have aced the "cool concept" department; "Duelist" as a T1 Blood Elf dude is just too sick. Some modelers here don't feel a good name/backstory is important to a piece of art... But this is a great example of why that's wrong IMO.

i want to use this model if this released.

about the texture, it looks fine. notice that A.R is trying to make most of his texture work fit with wc3 style.
and the same color tone as the other wc3 texture use.

some wc3 texture intend to have a blocky shading on the team color and black shading on some of the texture part. and a strong shadow & highlight. some of them also have really minor detail so it doesn't look fuzzy ingame with the usual RTS camera distance.

i think A.R pulled it really nicely with higher model & texture detail compared to the rest of the wc3 model. while also keeping it wc3 styled. i like the overall look of the model. keep up the good work~
