But is there any art with him like that? I can't see any such description visually in the WoW representations of him.
However, the tattoos, like those Alleria has, are not Viking inspired I think but Celtic. Same for the braided hair.
EDIT: oh, I saw what you mean in the more recent WoW, shaved like in the Vikings movie and stuff, yeah. The shaving though is not totally historically accurate for Vikings though.

Yeah now I see his new tattoo is more Celtic than Viking, still I feel Celtic/Druic stuff might suit NE characters more, maybe blizzard want something different for him to show his human side blood, but I like how old version Arator looks.

Honestly, I like this Version and the WoW Version. My own OC take some Inspiration from Viking TV Series, actually my Profile Pic was made using my OC Art when I use to Stream on Twitch, not the best but it got the job done.

Its My OC/Fan Fiction/D&D Character. Short backstory he is the last remaining Heir to Uriel Septim VII Throne who was fostered in Silvermoon after some time/portal magic meddling from Akotosh one of the 9 divines. I actually wanted to make a WoW Ported model of him but the hair styles just don't fit, and with me Running my own Leatherworking Business I rarely have time to make a Reforged Model from scratch or at all
