Finally, some industrial era units !
(4 ratings)
Nice, maybe add some matching icons and a regular cannon/mortar cannon and wagon unit.
Can you do American Revolution/British/French/Napoleonic units next?
Same mistakes as allways =_=
Eh?Classy models. I like them very much. What's missing here is a 12-pound Napoleon.
I think, this guy want you to create cannons for this factions. Napoleon - is the french cannon, used by both sides in american civil war.
I'm already working on the cannon. And since animation in my case is a real pain, it will take a long time to work.I think, this guy want you to create cannons for this factions. Napoleon - is the french cannon, used by both sides in american civil war.
Oh, crap. I forgot abou this! You must credit HerrDave for his original models
I like the idea for the engineer in the Civil War, but the wrench looks quite modern.
makes me think that the creator is a bit of an ahistorical revisionist. see Paillans comment as well.I find it very strange the the Confederates have coloured troops and not the Union.
The US had many regiments of colored troops whereas the only coloured troops possessed by the Confederacy were the Louisiana Native Guard, who were comprised the handful of free Men of Colour that existed in Louisiana due to it's cultural differences to the rest of the south.
Now the Louisiana Native Guard more or less swapped sides when the Union took Louisiana.
Most photos of "Black Confederates" that exist were photos of camp slaves, usually posing with their masters. they'd cook and clean and carry things, but they didn't fight usually.
That makes sense but this is assuming an opinion which couldn't be his.makes me think that the creator is a bit of an ahistorical revisionist. see Paillans comment as well.
I think the explanation is something like this: "Originally the color rifleman was not planned at all, but then it was urgently needed to add a unit to the Confederates."That makes sense but this is assuming an opinion which couldn't be his.
I bet he simply forgot to put a "colored" variant for the union and that's all.
I somehow missed your message, but there were Black Confederates back in the Civil War. If you look up Terry Deary's Horrible Histories: The USA (at least if I remember correctly), you'll find the page where the slaves were treated poorly by White Confederates.I find it very strange the the Confederates have coloured troops and not the Union.

no indian unit for the union? native americans fought in both sides after all.
Something wrong with eyes of rifleman.Hopefully these are acceptable, requires both InfantryUSA_ACW.blp and InfantryCSA_ACW.blp
Great model pack. I am especially happy with the inclusion of the Native Americans given how rare models of them are. I must ask since you are now doing 1800s units is there a chance we could get a Qing Dynasty model pack? Then we can also make maps of the Chinese revolution in 1911 of the Nationalists vs the Qing since you already made the Nationalists.Oh, crap. I forgot abou this!
I have a realy big problems with chinese models. It seems to me they don't have a specific(?) style in uniform, but there are several of these Chinese factions(?).Great model pack. Sorry for the late reply they do have uniforms and I can provide pictures if you need them. The hodge podge appearance is because the 1800s was a period of 2 attempted revolutions (Taiping mid century and the 1911 one by the Nationalists) as well as a transition of the Chinese Military from a more Renaissance type army to Modern. The Qing can diverge greatly from the Nationalists due to hair style, cloths and uniform. Both the Taiping and Nationalists viewed the Qing Dynasty as foreign occupiers and as a result distanced their hair and clothing to appear either more western in the Nationalist case or more Traditional in the Taiping case.I have a realy big problems with chinese models.
