Am I missing something?

I got a request to make some little grass doodads and i accepted, so i was sent the appropriate maps, but on setting up the material i kinda got stuck...
Anyone knows why the alpha channels is shown in the viewport but not in the render? also, why doesnt the normal map do anything (and the spec aswell)?
i used the sc2 bitmaps in the material slots, just as the readme told me to do (i am using the latest version of nintoxicaed's script)

the black border is only a really hard shadow ( i needed to put in a light source, otherwise the bump wouldnt have any effect, would it?) so dont bother with that!

yeah, what else may i tell you for tracking the problem?
i am using the scnaline renderer...
the textures are .dds and exported from the original ingame files

i'm still in max, i cant make grass if i cant check how it looks via quickly rendering it in a test scene, can i?

bumpmaps are different from textures?
i dont think so, sir!
technically bumpmaps are textures, as textures are an array of pixels with different color values...
bump maps are used in the bump map slot, that about everything that is needed to know about them in this case...

Nevertheless thx for ur answer, i tried it over at sc2mapster and asked nintoxicated personally, hopefully he'll reply!
