Info: This RP is located within a universe i created, over the years this universe has grown and merged whit others that i have created and ultimately became the world of Earmor. This RP takes place in one of the lands in this worlds. this land is called "the endless sands of Eria" it's a desert land devided into many kingdoms, i won't go into detail on this since that would take me 15 word pages to completely write down. xD anywho as the title of the RP sais you will be playing as Gladiators, these gladiators are slaves captured by the empires in this desert. Every year there is an event, people of all the kingdoms gather around the valley of Eria and a temporary city is set up around the valley. tough it isn't exactly a valley more like a Gaint canion, it's to deep to see the bothom and to it is so wide that people on one side can only see the other side vaguely. the bottom of this canion is truly a maze. around the canyone a multiple of Gaint crystal balls are set up trough these balls the spectators can see the fighting etc etc... Now for the event itself. from every kingdom gladiator schools gather and drop their best gladiators into the canion, it is then a battle for life and death. there can only be 5 winers so what will it be, will you emerge Victorious and live another day or will you die and be lost in the depts of the Eria canion.
The eria canion covers a total of 1350 Square miles (63 miles long and 22 miles wide) due to it's size the event can take days weeks even months. the objective of this game is to gather two items, a mark of honor of an opposing gladiator, and the key to the gate, these keys are magic keys and there are only five. only one key is allowed per person, if a person takes more then one key he will die on the spot. once the gladiator has these two items he has to find his way to the gate and show the key and the mark of honor to the gate keeper, he is then let trough and declared one of the five winners.
The eria canion covers a total of 1350 Square miles (63 miles long and 22 miles wide) due to it's size the event can take days weeks even months. the objective of this game is to gather two items, a mark of honor of an opposing gladiator, and the key to the gate, these keys are magic keys and there are only five. only one key is allowed per person, if a person takes more then one key he will die on the spot. once the gladiator has these two items he has to find his way to the gate and show the key and the mark of honor to the gate keeper, he is then let trough and declared one of the five winners.
Races: There are hundreds of races on my fantasy world, even i don't know them all out of my head, we will only be using a few. i won't go much into detail whit them either. when the name of the race is colored Red it isn't playable but can be encountered in the RP.
Humans: Humans are devided into many sub-species. we will be using these:
-Elemental wielders: Elemental wielding humans are as the name says, wielders of one of the five elements. these elements are: Fire, Earth, wind, water and lightning. earth is then has a sub branch of sand and metal and water has a sub branch to ice Fire doesn't have any sub branches but can be made stronger. a true master of the fire element can use Purple flames. these flames never die untill the user wants them to or the target is completely destroyed. a human can NEVER control more then one element.
-mana wielders: Mana wielders are called by many ways: Wizards, magicians, druids often even sages. the draw upon the natural energy around them and story it into their body. after they stored it to their maximum capacity they can manipulate it however they want. though never can the energy of nature stored inside them create elements. these mana wielders mostly use this energy to enache their punshes. some of them oftenj use wands containing elemental crystals and use their nature energy to shoot an orb from it. those who use this method are mostly calles magicians ore wizards, druids on the other hand use pure nature energy and summon creatures to fight for them, they can manipulate nature in any way they see fit. a sage expert at both druidism and wizardry he even adds his hown personal touch, incantations. incantations are invented by the sage humself and are personal to him. they always carry a spellbook to write them down.
-Warriors: and then ofcourse you have the normal warriors, they don't use anything as mana or elements, their secret is on the weapons potions and strenght. many of the weapons a warrior uses are incantated or have elemental crystals in them, the same goes for their armor.

Elves: one of the ancient races and very powerfull. they grow over 10000 years old tough they are very rare, the total elven populations is down to it's last 2500. they have purle-like skin and pointy ears, they stand very tall and proud.
-Druids: They can use nature energy as humans but can anly manipulate it as fas as druidism however to a much more powerfull extend. they also use incantations as the sage.
-Rangers: rangers use spears and bows, they use nature energy to enhance their eyesight, if the range of their bow would allow it they could hit a target from up to 2km distance perfectly. rangers are fast and often very agile, they are said to be the fastest warriors ever to exist.
-Druids: They can use nature energy as humans but can anly manipulate it as fas as druidism however to a much more powerfull extend. they also use incantations as the sage.

Mesmers: a human like race tough they have black skin. a mesmers can only be one thing, a summoner. unlike druids they don't summon animals but spirits.
Megmaks: big red hulk-like creatures, they can grow up to 10 feet tall and are enormously powerfull. despites their apearance they actualy don't enjoy fighting. being direct descendants from the God of the earth element controling earth for them is no problem. and if they fight they will fight as iff their life dependet on it. none of them use weapons or wear any armor.
Orcs: Orcs are a very strong and proud species tough sometimes tend to go the the violence. they are true warriors whit honor and pride. more than anything they hate ranged combat or the use of mana.
Eldears: Eldears are very proud beings they are green humanoids whit tentacles instead of hair on their head. They look amphibious tough they are not, in fact they hate water. The eldear have created their own kind of mana called Ghoro, Ghoro is a very powerful though it comes whit a price. Anyone who uses Ghoro shortens their life by at least 20 years. The full extends of Ghoro are unknown tough there are records that say a true master of ghoro can destroy his own body to ascend to a new being. There is only one report of such being and that was 5000 years ago, it destroyed a whole empire on his own. Ghoro is actually pure life energy used to create deflect destroy or teleport things away.
Mosmos:The mosmos are a weird species, they are shapeshifters. They can take the shape of any creature they see or have seen, this sometimes leads to awkward situations. Tough after a while it’s really easy to who is the fake and who is the real one. The mosmos pack quite a punch when engaged in hand to hand combat. If you get a good direct hit of a mosmos you probably wont move for a week. To enhance these powers even more some mosmos use grieve edges.
Phonory: as the Mosmos they are shapeshifters tough they are weaker than the mosmos. Instead of gathering energy in their fists to have a destructive punch they can control the earth element very well. Some of them have acquired the power to bend metal and control sand. Most of the time a phonory will take the shape of a sand spirit, a sand spirit is basically a being made out of sand. It has the same shape as a human but has a gaint tentacle growing from the back of his head, it also has a tail. sand spirits have claws instead of nails on their fingers so that makes their hands pretty dangerous.
Minotaurs: Bigg creatures whit the head of a bull they can stand up to 10 feet tall as the megmarks but unlike the megmarks they are dumb and brutal, they use gaint swords hammers or axes, anyuthing they can get their hands on actualy. some people say thei are born for violance.
Undead: the undead are mindless freakshows. they are not Gladiators but are dropped into the canyon by masses just to make the show more interesting. they wear any armor they can get and use any weapon they can get. an Undead only has one objective... KILL

Background: His family were powerful knights who died in battle recently. They taught him the basics of the sword. He burned their bodies and a spell upon them merged with his skin. He is the survivor of his bloodline, but not the last. His cousin, the lady warrior, are the few surviving members of this family. He took up the family name when the empire came to the land. He fought like a true Kresge but after many battles lost to the empire's elite. The Emporor spared him his life because he fought so valiantly, his armor and sword was repaired and his life now in the hands of Eria.

DESCRIPTION: Adru has pale skin, normal for a Caucasian, along with black hair and green eyes. She stands slightly taller than the average human, about six feet.
GEAR: Simple leather armor over average cloth clothing. She also wields a well-built longsword. Despite the rough treatment it has received over the years, it has failed to break.
BACKGROUND: Born to a simple peasant family, Adru's village was consumed by one of the many battles that frequent the Eria deserts. She was one of the few survivors, but despite living in the desert for months she survived. Coming out of that experience with the memory of endless heat imprinted on her mind, she proceeded to learn everything she could about Fire magic in the hopes of harnessing that heat. After several adventures in the Eria deserts, Adru caught wind of the Eria Canyon and its annual event. She proceeded to attack the first group of slavers she came across. Allowing herself to be 'captured,' she now awaits the next event, ready to have fun.
While some whisper that she came out of her desert encounter slightly worse in the head, Adru has proved herself to be very capable when it comes to harnessing the element of fire. To Adru, life is an adventure to be enjoyed, and nothing brings her more enjoyment than blowing stuff up. Impulsive, headstrong, and determined, Adru will usually think things through only after she has started doing them. She is very obviously an Elemental Wielder of Fire.

Description: Seriphen is tall, has long Blonde hair and a hard face. His skin is dark, yet without any traces of brown. He is cold towards humans, but apart from that most people know him as a "Pretty Nice Guy".
Gear: Seriphen fights with a wooden staff that has been painted black. On it is written "Fang" with blue letters. He wears a black cloak that ends in a wolf head (abit like the cloak the Wc3 shamans wear, just black.),a pair of leather trousers and a brown linen shirt.
Background: Seriphen were found lying in the Valley of Eria after a sandstorm, and he doesen't remember anything from his past exept that he hates humans.
He also remembers a few druid spells, such as taking shape as a wolf and communing with various animals.

His sword is believed by many to have a soul, so it has a name, the Cul'An , it's made of a rare metal, with a silvery color but a blueish glow.
Background: A'Saar was born in one of the desert's capitols, though he lived in the slums up untill he was 17, when he set off on a journey through the desert. At age 24 he was given the mysterious blade by a mesmer, he told him it was infused with the spirit of a water elemental, endowing it with the power to increase the owner's quickness and striking power.
