HI!, my first map on the net. Sry if it is to heavy.

It Includes:
-New icons (actually, old from Warcraft I) for every unit, spell, upgrade and structure.
-Models downloaded from here, such as MC ! 's Cleric and Conjurer model (thanks to the authors of the models).
-Every unit that appears in Warcraft I, with all the stats changed and re-balanced... Catapults are REALLY deadly back again.
-Pick orcs or humans, (even though you pick undeads or night elves, you will be one of the first 2 mentioned)
-Fight against computers or other players

This is still beta, in the complete version some bugs will fixed and a new hero will be added (among other stuff).

Put your comments with out fear, if it sucks for you... its better you let me know.

All right. There're many things to change in your map.

1st.- Necrolytes and Warlocks looked just the same in WCI. The only difference is that Necrolytes' cowl is black and Warlocks' red. Change the models.

2nd.- You badly imported the Spearthrower model. It's head is red! Fix it.

3rd.- Pick a Bare skeleton model coz WCI and WCII skeletons hadn't sword and shield.

4th.- Every time a Necrolyte casts Unholy Armor, the target unit gets an ability to make it invulnerable. Can you eliminate the ability icon.

5th.- Get or make models or skins for the different buildings to make it look more like WCI. If you don't get'em or can't make'em, don't worry. I am also making a map like yours but with WCII but I don't think I can finish it coz I lack of building and unit models or skins. Maybe you could do it.

Well, this is all I have by now about your map. I've just played as Orcs, now Humans....

RE-submited the map, now i fixed the head of the spearman (now green) and female hero all green again. Oh and i also added a sound for the Human's stables.

Frostroll:
1st.- I've tried to make it look the most close as possible, but its almost imposible to make it perfect.. yet however i'll work on that.

2nd.- fix done

3rd.- True... working on that.

4th.- I had serius problems with that ability, the reason of the icon is because the effect is in fact an ability and not an effect. To eliminate the icon, i would have to re-do all the spell again, and its a hard thing because of the problems i had (have you tried to do this spell on your WC2 map?). Anyway, perhaps later i will.

5th.- I'll look for them.. again, but i can't find anything good... but as i said, its hard it to be PERFECT. Anyway, thanks for your comments and i'll love to see your map of Warcraft II

Ha! You will not see my WCII map in a loooonnnnggg time!!! I'm trying to pick the best WCII models in all the Internet. And yeah I tried to create the Unholy Armor spell with triggers. But, I don't know what I did wrong.... I've been trying to correct it without results. But yours have given me a good idea.... :idea:


P.S. I don't know what's wrong with your map, but I can't load it in the Editor. It says: Custom unit data missing or invalid. Maybe are those walls you put.

P.S.S. Drakthul's Orc Warlock model is red (you can use it for Warlocks). And Guldan's Orc Warlock model is black (for Necrolytes).

-Thanks for the warlock and necrolytes thing.
-The map was protected... but not anymore. I have resubmited the map this time unprotected. i did select the warlock and necrolytes model as u said, that and other much more minor changes. Enjoy.

Very nice map, especially for your first. just a couple things that id like to point out.

1. i noticed the gold is collected in 100s, as is wc1, but wood is still collected in 1's, just carried in 100s.(very slow) i havent checked, but im sure it can be fixed in game constants.

2. maybe instead of just using a wc3 map, how about re-create an old wc1 map? i think that would be awesome. im a big fan of wc1, and a pretty decent terrainer, so if you wouldnt want to do this yourself, then id do it.

but anyway, you did a great job on the map.

Kam - Models... i have looked, nothing good. All i saw was Dawn of Chaos, but they use their own models wich i can't get. I defently would apreciate your help if you want to.

1. Yeah, i have noticed that recently and i have alredy worked on that, as soon as i finish some details I will re-submit this map, thanks for the notice. (this is changed at the object editor).

2. True, I will later do that, but i want to first focus on the units. You can try to recreate one.

hive workshop has a better model to use as the human archer, wasn't lothar a knight not a palidon, and the orc women was killed by the orcs as she ran off with a ogre.

oh and you can edit the lumber this on the ability manager.

Hey I notice you using a Glaive Thrower for a catapult you should use the real thing

These are most of these are hidden models and icons so there is no need to import .

Please use this archer the one in your map is just horrible Archer of course give credit to the creator.
