  • My dear Tauer , i must say something that maybe u sounds uncomfortable . the most important thing is that NEVER GIVE UP ANY WORKS OF YOURSELF if u want to make a obvious progress in modeling and texturing . i know it's hard for everyone , but if u can overcome this problem , u will found much diferences with ur new works . now u had laid aside Zul'jin , Garona , Durotan , Velen and this Cthulhu models . i know u do this for fun , u don't need to be completed . but if u wanna use these skills into professional levels , u must force urself to finish them . actually i am very busy for the company but now i still finished all of my warcraft Heroes contain that Velen and Kargath . you have great potential powers , and i do know u wanna become a great game designer . if u are willing to stick to it , just strict demands on urself . the success won't depend on only interest .

    ehh do you have any good tutorial for Wrapping for custom texture and Making a Texture? I really wanna start learning that XD
    Warcraft themed but it's kind of really hard to explain at the moment. It'll take place during the historical events of the Warcraft universe, including the WoW timeline, however at different areas in the world. However, it'll be made in such way that everything will connect smooth, without any slight disturbances in the lore. Every character will be given a personality and ties with some actual characters in the universe made by Blizzard. It's still at planning phase and there is a lot of work to do, however progress is going at steady good pace since I have a lot of shit planned up and explained in my mind.

    Over time I'll slowly release some WIP's and so on, and community will be introduced in what kind of project they can expect. And thanks for the support, of course! :)
    No doubt I will, actually on the other hand even though I barely have any spare time for sitting on my PC and stuff, I managed to do some brain storming and perhaps even start my own custom campaign which in my honest opinion has a really good story and fiction in it makes it really interesting. However I don't think I have yet material prepared to reveal it to the public, however I can already tell you your models will do the main role in ceratin characters. When it comes to fiction, there is never enough material. Everything can be used.

    Why I am saying that is because that stuff might motivate me to get back into modding with each spare second I have and perhaps make some good stuff for it, later on release it into public and perhaps inspire more people to do some stuff and release their minds, be creative and such stuff. Anyways, it's good to hear from you again. Looking forward to seeing your stuff grow and shine once again, just like previous models did! :D
    Hey, I came to ask if your Grom has a chaos animation, but also an animation where he "drinks" from a fountain, like in Warcraft 3? If not, would you be interested in adding that? Curiosity is mine, due to my 2Player Campaigns. So I am wondering... Will take a long time until I reach the orc campaign, but still.
    Of course, gave it a try. Did some stuff but never managed to finish it. Apparently work, girlfriend and many other factors are killing my spare time at the moment, literally. So I am kind of barely able to kill off a few hours on my PC like before thanks to all that. But on the good side, I am good mate. Life is moving in the right direction at steady pace at the moment and everything seems to be going how it should, towards the better life hah.

    I saw your model, and I am simply amazed with it. Actually as you can already guess, I never had any doubt in your 3D skills, but what shocked me the most about him though is the facial texture you did over there. And yes by that I mean it completely matches the Warlords in quality and level of details. You surely have to keep that up and running, mate, as you're surely a diamond among the rocks when it comes to Hive.

    I am on the work at the moment as well too, typing from my phone, so yeah... Not even sure if there are any mistakes or can you read it properly, but I'll be home in a few hours and then I am going to check on Durotan once again and perhaps mess a bit more around 3Ds Max for some time... :D
    Gah, it isn't even the criticism. It's how presumptuous they get. Why, I work on crafting every single, conceivable detail into my story worlds. Character personalities, their intricate backstories, international politics. Trade and economic states. Lore and legends of various monuments, roadways, temples, whole religions, and hell, I even try to figure out a realistic weather pattern based on our own, and all the scientific knowledge of how ours works for the world I'm crafting.

    I can do all this, and create a perfect version of one of my characters, and some fuck'll have the nerve to tell me that my vision is wrong. I don't have a very long fuse in general, and few things really tend to push me that far, but that kind of insult is infuriating.

    Oh what's good my man? Yeah I am, browsing the forums here and there, just yesterday I saw your WIP showcase thread got back active, and I was pleased to. What's new? How you doing? :)
    So I'm kind of working on a small Altered Melee map.

    1v1 grudge match style setup. Main bases on the right and left sides, with a couple off-shoots, like an area with a large amount of Lumber, and one with a large amount of Gold. Some creeps to kill, and items to get, and a massive, desolate wasteland in the middle, where both teams are meant to meet up to fight.

    It's meant to be all out war, with a couple exceptions. Not far from each base is a Fountain of Health, with a hidden path, that both players can access later on, to go around the Battlefield. Guarding the only available entrances to the Battlefields, are duos of powerful Heroes with unique attacks, built to ensure that only Tier 3 armies and top level heroes can advance.

    It started as a simple 1v1 melee map with a long path between the two bases, with the intention that, one way or another, both armies would be very strong when they met, with plenty of little tactical things available to help smart players turn the fight to their advantage. But I like the idea of a Boss duo that only a couple Hero Killer type heroes could fight without their armies.

    Yeah, Still using Blender, Thinking of start learning 3DS Max to Animate, but I need tutorial that can get me familiar with the Interface and basic Control of 3DS Max

    Probably not any time soon. I've grown rather tired of the stupid shit I get in return.

    However, I did come upon a project. Sort of... Charity work, to save a game. I want to complete the project with concept work, but I can't do any 2D work. I'd intended to do 3D models in place of 2D concepts, but I can't seem to get it right.

    I think I need a texturer.
    Nothing, really. How much free time do you have? Since it looks like you're working on models again.
    Nahh Im actually fine with the textures you make :) in fact, I love em! it's the model structure that kinda gives a WoW vibe
    but maybe you could stick to the concept of WoD but still giving it a little edge of War3 instead of going for a WoW structure you so-commonly do to your models now.
