Well, callex created Solar Conquest and Cruiser Command from scratch with great help of eleandor, so I basically took over when he retired. I learned most of my editor skills by studying his systems. I'm generally very bad at making maps from scratch, as I really suck at terraining. My first "from scratch" maps were rejected, even my first altered melee map with system which allowed normal grunt and footman to become stronger. Also allowed normal units to level infinitely solely on their personal kills and thus preserving units became a very important tactic. The reason it was rejected cuz i took one of blizzard maps and made systems in it, to lazy to map a new melee map.
Unfortunately I no longer has the map in open version, as I could only retrieve it from a hidden spot in hive, as I didn't realize its potential stupid me.... Today it has been at the same level as many good altered melee maps
Also I tried to make a space map from scratch based of MoO2, but wc3 is difficult when it comes to turn based systems and wc3 players really prefer as real time as possible.

Unfortunately Callex and I are both GUI jounins, which isn't optimal for such advanced maps. Well Callex do exist only in real life nowadays afaik.
