Sorry to disturb you but i see in many forum pages that we can change the language of the game by changing the Locale and Region registery values, and even in this thread which you ve used to centralize all the W3 versions of the game, it says in the thread:

If someone needs to start @dq11 's Chinese 1.31.1 client: you must first switch the language in registry, else you'll get a black screen. Simplified Chinese is zhCN. Afterwards, change to your normal language.

Considering that it's a retail version of the game i cleared my registery then edited this key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Classic Launcher\w3] "Locale"="MYREGIONCODE"

I made sure to do it even for the w3t and w3b keys even though it's not required and even then I still cannot have any other language working aside from enUS and the chinese ones. What can I do please ?

Could you make a popup for new users to get this info before they can upload a map? (wtii's map upload tutorial).
Could you also force these new users to first click on this info panel first before enabling them to upload a map? (should be done for all resources I think).

Hey. How do download counts appear? Are they based on individual files downloaded from a bundle also or only when users do it via the big DOWNLOAD button?
I'm asking because if it's the latter, it would be unfair for maps or campaign threads which bundle various game versions (i.e. Reforged and non- or pre-Reforged).

Hello.

Lately I've been thinking about something that I think would be a good addition to the forum, in the maps section I would add a subforum for new authors. It doesn't make much sense, seeing the high level of the great authors of the forum, to compare themselves face to face, with the same "rules" so to speak, with those who are just starting out. I think this would help a lot, since in this subforum, under other standards and keeping in mind that these are works by newbies, they would not receive the devastating reviews that often make them abandon content creation.

Well, I just wanted to leave the recommendation here.

Hey. Uploading to the Sounds section is tad creepy. It's somewhat bearable you have to upload file by file, but you also have to name the file since the code doesn't automatically read it from the file and moreover you can't name it too long. Ugh.

What did he update? The last update was in 2022.

Why did he bump to top of listings? Is it because of Artemin's' Blackhand the Destroyer '?

Their title names are the same.

I guess this may be a Bug.

Hey man. Can we have a bit of a tweak/toggle for the resource search? For instance if I search Medivh it will show some models which have that word in their description but which have nothing to do with a Medivh inspired/related model. So, could the search just filter out the description besides the part where its related to keywords and also consider the model and the resource thread name?

Hello Ralle, can "hidden" buttons be centered? I tried many things to center them but it doesn't work. I remember they could be centered before HIVE got update but now they just scoot all the way to the left of the screen. They don't work under center BB code either.

Hi Ralle, I'd like to request an account deletion.
I don't actively use hive anymore, and wouldn't want people on the internet to trace my identity back to a website I used when I was 13.
(There is some personally identifiable information scattered across old posts. I really would want to avoid being doxxed).

I know Hive doesn't allow user's to delete their accounts, but it should be well within a user's right to take their content off the internet.
I would've sent you a PM, but with the new UI, IDK how to do that.

Hey Ralle, I didn't want to hijack the thread in site discussion for the "oops-- problem" issue since I wasn't sure if it is the same issue. Had another of those messages pop up when trying to access someone's profile: YYY
This person was unable to upload maps (not a size related issue) to paste because they kept getting an error saying they didn't have permission to do that. And when I try adding their name to a map as author, it won't allow me to select them.
Was just was curious if this was related to the thread in site discussion or not. It doesn't appear to be a privacy issue.

Hey. Is there a way to tick with one click all the pre-1.32 map filter tags? I can't seem to find something like that. I'm asking because simply searching by SD or not including the Reforged tag doesn't mean said maps aren't saved on 1.32+ versions and many users consider 1.32+ Reforged even if on SD/Classic mode/graphics.
