    Ahoy there moosey!
    Is there a way to add a notification/alert when someone edits a post and quotes you?
    I know you could doublepost and have the autofuse feature merge the posts and give the alert as a new message but for posts that are tad behind/before the last?

    Hello. There's an annoying issue when you click a profile/avatar in a profile post under latest profile posts: Lidless war horse where you can't get off that profile popup by pressing on the popup post but only by closing both popup frames by pressing outside of them like on the site page.

    Hey. For some reason Last Reply Date on Maps filter is overwritten by Last Updated.

    To make it work I had to tick the save as default option.

    Also, unrelated, profile posts now appear under latest activity rather than postings on the profile.

    I often use the hive pastebin to transfer files between laptop and PC, I know that's not really what it is supposed to be used for but it rejects files of certain types.
    I was trying to transfer a CAD file and it refused to I just wrapped it into a .zip file and it works fine.

    I don't know if the restriction serves a purpose or how easy it is to tweak but if it's just a 5 minute change maybe consider it :)

    Nooo, it was a CAD drawing from a program called EasyEl they got their own arbitrary format. It was .FCW or something random like that but it has happened to me with other things too that's just my most recent example. I think I had the same issue with a wordpad text file which it refused to accept if I recall.

    Heyllo. Would there be a possibility to add search by image (especially for icons although would be nice for models and textures too) feature as not everyone writes multiple keywords one could search for the same thing by a different word. It's kind of annoying to search all synonyms each time.
    Example: searching for a tornado icon but someone names it whirlwind or some unrelated word entirely.

    Yeah, I also see some people write Koto instead of Kodo, and those results don't show up in my model searches. Would like at least one way around that.

    IMO latest profile and forum posts are more important (subjective ofc; I'd also leave members after like it was) than trending (which is commercial dopamine rush-like) and latest news (which has more old ones because it's not a very active forum). If they won't be moved/put as they were before, can we customize them? I feel news can be checked either on the first page or directly in the forums since it's the in first top titles that appears. Trending is IDK useless (at least to me) since I regularly check most of forums and people usually check what they're interested in, not some daily bakery prices panel.

    Hi, if you have a moment I'd like to ask something regarding attachments to posts (so far I didn't find anything about this on the site).
    Specifically, when I attach maps to my posts, they often don't show up. I can refresh the page, and they're there, refresh it again and they're gone.
    Some people say they can't download my maps, this way. Is that a known issue, and is there a way around it?

    After clicking around some more though, I am starting to think maybe it's just that you need to click on the thread to make sure you see it completely (clicking on the thread title to open it up properly). As I said some people were complaining about it, but right now the attached files DO show up at least whenever I open up the thread in a new tab. So I dunno.

    Hey, I think number of hidden/not public albums and media files are added to totals in the members with most albums and media. See this user: TMNT2012FanLover I can only see 9 images and no albums but the members list says otherwise.

    I am probably not comfortable with giving full access to the site's source code just like that though. I'm thinking your help could be in small component things we need, if we can find the right idea.

    But I'm also rewriting an old project of mine, a JASS memory leak detector, this time in Rust. I wouldn't mind doing that in an open sourced fashion.

    What did you finish? Was it a university degree? Which one?

    Yes, brother, well, specifically as a senior programming technician, I was also working in a company, but it was a small company and they couldn't continue hiring me, but I was working in Laravel and MySQL with JavaScript, improving components and adding new modules to the company's app.

    I vaguely remember when we did member of the year awards, which may be flawed but the memory sparked a similar idea.
    Am I forgetting or have we never had a 'hall of fame'?
    Sometimes I get a notification of a post I made in 2014 getting a like and I go back and check and other replies in that old thread are largely forgotten.
    I find it somewhat sad that a lot of these people will not be known by newer members.

    I don't really want to name people because that's beside the point, just curious about your quick initial thoughts

    Sorry to disturb you but i see in many forum pages that we can change the language of the game by changing the Locale and Region registery values, and even in this thread which you ve used to centralize all the W3 versions of the game, it says in the thread:

    If someone needs to start @dq11 's Chinese 1.31.1 client: you must first switch the language in registry, else you'll get a black screen. Simplified Chinese is zhCN. Afterwards, change to your normal language.

    I made sure to do it even for the w3t and w3b keys even though it's not required and even then I still cannot have any other language working aside from enUS and the chinese ones. What can I do please ?

    Could you make a popup for new users to get this info before they can upload a map? (wtii's map upload tutorial).
    Could you also force these new users to first click on this info panel first before enabling them to upload a map? (should be done for all resources I think).

    When you upload a map you are faced with info on the rules:

    Before submission, please familiarize yourself with the resource submission rules. Certain submissions may result in penalties.

    We could highlight the last bit in red perhaps.

    Hey. This might sound cheesy but could you make it so that if a user's post is marked as review, it gets some +xp? (if possible, exclude reviewers/mods).

    Hmmmm! Interesting. One problem is that we don't track backwards who used to be staff so as soon as someone leaves, all their reviews would get exp. Aside from that I think it's a really cool idea.

    Hey. How do download counts appear? Are they based on individual files downloaded from a bundle also or only when users do it via the big DOWNLOAD button?
    I'm asking because if it's the latter, it would be unfair for maps or campaign threads which bundle various game versions (i.e. Reforged and non- or pre-Reforged).

    Downloads are deduped so if someone downloads 5 things from a bundle, it counts as one.

    Lately I've been thinking about something that I think would be a good addition to the forum, in the maps section I would add a subforum for new authors. It doesn't make much sense, seeing the high level of the great authors of the forum, to compare themselves face to face, with the same "rules" so to speak, with those who are just starting out. I think this would help a lot, since in this subforum, under other standards and keeping in mind that these are works by newbies, they would not receive the devastating reviews that often make them abandon content creation.

    Well, I just wanted to leave the recommendation here.

    Hey. Uploading to the Sounds section is tad creepy. It's somewhat bearable you have to upload file by file, but you also have to name the file since the code doesn't automatically read it from the file and moreover you can't name it too long. Ugh.

    I feel it should be around 100 characters. If it's a featuring, more names might be written before a song's tile which itself could be 3 or more words. And if it's a remake/remix you'll have the editor's name between parantheses xD
    But seriously, it should just read the file's name and put that instead.

    Hey man. Can we have a bit of a tweak/toggle for the resource search? For instance if I search Medivh it will show some models which have that word in their description but which have nothing to do with a Medivh inspired/related model. So, could the search just filter out the description besides the part where its related to keywords and also consider the model and the resource thread name?

    Hello Ralle, can "hidden" buttons be centered? I tried many things to center them but it doesn't work. I remember they could be centered before HIVE got update but now they just scoot all the way to the left of the screen. They don't work under center BB code either.

    It is in a way yes. It would be neat if I could actually filter them by last month or so since sorting by date and stuff doesn't quite work well as some might have been uploaded years back but deleted recently.

    Hi. We can't see anyone's resources anymore. And I can't see any of my resources on the homepage either. What happened here? Currently. No one in our China region can see the resources. I don't know what the situation is in other regions.
    Is it because of this update "Make user resources show stacking resources by default."??

    Thank you for your repair. However, the pending resources are still not displayed.
    Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were nearly a thousand additional pages of resources (It turned out to be less than a hundred pages). It seems that many hidden works have been restored. However, it is currently unclear which resources can be displayed. I tried to open the resource panel of Murlocologist. I couldn't find the icon he deleted.

    Last I talked to someone about this it seemed like the page had been open for a while and some Ajax-y thing loaded a new message or something. As if page time is old because it's long ago it was reloaded but some content is newer than that. Does that seem to make sense?
