"Assassin's Lodge"... Sounds awesome Al!
Ka-Ching!
JM productions presents at : 31.08.2010 11.12 AM CET![]()
As the 2nd description says, it is usually associated with a medieval group of merchants or artisans. Naming it guild would create associations to Middle Ages and similar things.
Kaliri are domesticated owls, who are bred for eggs, meat and especially for their feathers which are used for different rituals, clothing e.t.c.
So the term farm fits them perfectly.
I meant definition, forgot the word >>
Well farm is the most fitting word for the model and overalldescription, as Pens and Nest both sound like a unit training building. Pens sound like they're a place where kaliri are trained for hunting and war and nest is already used in Warnest.
Deepblade tell that Blizzard. Human farm of WCIII is clearly for keeping animals, especially since its soundset.
Dude, this is Grom Hellscream. Edit his face, make his beard shorter (or something), maybe stretch his eyes in a mongoloid form. His chest, put something there some spiral tattoos or a leather armor. Change the color of his skin... THINK of something impressive.
Have you ever looked at the concept art? It looks exactly like grom... Beside i am not a skinner i don't know how to do it , but if you do, go ahead make him a new texture. And why should his beard be shorter? It's normal sized, also he doesn't waer armor on the art just a few scars...
Why spanish? Uhh whatever... I'll try my best also the basemodel was Hellscream not the BM jus to say.
Oooh now i understand but i always thought that naked warriors were mostly from Scotland.
Such a skin style is better?

No it's Killrog's right half from HOS mod.(and it's probably the greatest bm skin ever).
IM NOT A SKINNER! And as i said above it's taken from HOS not made by me.
You mean a demi-hero system like in AWSLR? Or unique units like Naisha and the likes in Campaign?Hm... interesting idea. But perhaps instead of using the T3 unit we would have some sort of a half-hero unit that can be trained from the main hall if the last building was constructed
Okay here it goes!
Grunt - ?
Spearthrower - Ensnare
Hunter - Ensnare (Spiked Ensnare?)
Wolfrider - ?
Catapult - ?
Clefthoof Rider - ?
Talbuk Ram - ?
Shaman - Tranquil (New name?), Lightning Armor, Purge
Pyremaster - Raise Flaming Bones (New name please!), Immolate, Fiery Lasso
Warlock - Blood Rage
Necrolyte - Raise Dead (New name?), Rot, Unholy Armor
Spirit Champion - (Name please!)
Feslworn - Curse of Terror
And here are the abilities:
Ensnare - ordinary ensnare?
Tranquil - Main healing spell of the Orcs, don't know how it will work, but I'm thinking something like a lesser Rejuvenation and removes the Blood Rage buff.
Purge - ordinary purge (can't dispel the Blood Rage buff).
Lightning Armor - ordinary lightning armor?
Raise Flaming Bones - uh...raises Ranged/Mage Skeletons instead melee ones?
Immolate - Flaming Shield lol
Fiery Lasso -AerialGround Shackles
Blood Rage - Single Target or AoE? Gives the target (any orc) a Blood Rage buff, can't be dispel by any means (except Tranquil). This makes the target degenerates, but it gives them buff-ups. Also gives them the ability Blood Thirst which works like Berserk and it gives them lifesteal.
Raise Dead - raises melee skeletons?
Rot - Single Target/AoE? Makes the target Rot, which slows nearby enemies.
Unholy Armor - wc1/wc2 spell
Curse of Terror - When a Felsworn dies, he will create a rune that curses nearby enemy units. The killer will be affected greatly than the surrounding enemy units. Don't know what stat should be affected.
I expect feedbacks.
Oh god. Blizzard spells? Really? I think I'll just unsubscribe now. There was literally no actual progress since this started. You didn't even do the basic things a mod needs. You don't KNOW what the basic things a mod needs are. You have no vJASS coder, you have no one to hack Blizzard's .j files either. You don't know how to create a mod, that's basically what I'm saying.
supertoinkz, the rock entrance halls have a horrendous wrap.
I'm reading it.Long Post...
Long Post...
Those spells are all lame, and that's my point. They're all Blizzard rip-offs. I mean, Ensnare? Seriously? You can't even bother changing the name. If you want this to be a mod, EVERY spell has to be unique and a lot more awesome than Blizzard's spells. At the moment, this is very much like Blizzard's Warcraft 3. If you just want some new races, make an altered melee. If you want a campaign to go with those races, make separate campaigns. :/
Ensnare ~ We need another name here, as Debode said. I'm thinking this could go to the Wolfrider, because he can drag longer distances because of its wolf. Well, discuss.
Tranquil ~ (You spelled it wrong lol). This can cost too much mana, seeing that it can heal and at the same time, remove buffs.
Purge ~ I like the idea, and ofc, more mana cost! Also think of another "nice" name.
Lightning Armor ~ Hmmm... I think we could change this. Like we should add an Earth spell right?
Blazing Bones ~ (just thought of new name) The leftover fire is a good idea, but the immolation...don't think so. But maybe, an upgrade than can give them Immolation? Like Greater Blaze or through the Adept/Master Caster upgrades.
Immolate ~ What ability can replace this?
Fiery Lasso ~ So you mean, three units are needed to channel the spell?
Blood Rage ~ Good.
Raise Dead ~ I'm thinking this is not an autocast spell, this is an instant-cast spell like the wc1/wc2 does. More brainstorming is needed.
Rot ~ Yes, the target is also draining life, but isn't slowed. Nearby enemy units will be damaged and slowed. I'm thinking if the target unit dies while under the rotten buff, it will spawn parasites/maggots.
Unholy Armor ~ Okay.
Curse of Terror ~ I didn't understand what you mean there. You mean, the unit starts with 0 mana? And some sorceror will refill it's mana? By how?
I still take opinions/suggestions/feedbacks/criticisms/comments/replies/ideas.
I'm ending this quarrel/discussion to prevent it from becoming worse.
I'm removing Immolate because the Pyremaster already has a main offensive spell (Fiery Lasso), and I like it more.
