The Steam Punk Art Contest is counted as a Concept Art Contest theme.

Yeah, I counted that as #1, but where was #2?

Well this is a really early pic and I couldn't find my scanner cable so I had to take the pic with my phone so the qualities not the greatest (I see phone cams dont pick up shading very well) but here's a rough draft of the first form of my creature, just hoping to get some constructive criticism on the topic.

I'm not very good at realism (as real as a fantasy creature sort of thing can get) so I went with a bit more animated style for it.

(If Im hogging to much space on the page I can scale the picture down a bit)

The shading looks a lot better.
I like the wings of the second, but I don't suggest putting the tail in front of the wings.
