High Poly Super Mario! by FW

So I made this model from scratch wasnt really planning on releasing so its pretty High Poly, but when I imported it I was amazed at how little space it actually took up!

Its exactly 7000 Polys (according to milkshape ;D)

Mesh took me 2.5 hours to complete,
Texture took me around 3 hours cause I suck at textures...
and Animations took around an hour...
I do plan on adding more animations when I get time and editing anims too.

I got the inspiration last night when I was playing my little brothers Mario Galaxy with little expectations, and holy $%^& it turned out to be fun :D

Update: Fixed hair in back of head to have the Middle Increased in the Z axis

14:56, 4th Dec 2010 anarchianbedlam: Fix the UV wrap on the sides, it's stretched; the animations need work; and i realize that it's "suppose" to be "high poly", but this is unnecessarily high. You have too many polies for such simple shapes.

Half of the animations plays very fast, maybe try to make them slower. And you must reduce poly count. A good place to reduce first is his nose. Overall 3/5. If you make the animations slower and reduce polies it is definitely worth 4/5.

u see that would make it a lower poly model :p anyways, the animations are fast ... havnt you ever played mario?? Its fast paced :) I tried to make it as similar to mario as possible, but I do plan on redoing anims anyways. But its not really meant for Wc3 but it works just fine in game and has a small file size for being a unit model with 7k polies :) Doesnt Lag even with advanced camera systems and maxed out terrains o_O

we'll see I got a lot of work to do, I have 2 attachment sets I need to create for Ardent Heros rpg, as well as 200 items on my list for Titans of Archia orpg, Terrains, Systems, etc. I have months of work already cut out for me, but if I find some spare time I'll let you know :)
