I would go for RPG, even better SRPG.
But if you were to make SRPG, it would better be a Campaign like The Chosen One.
SRPG focuses more on the storyline itself for the player to enjoy the feeling as if he's in the story.

MMORPG is good too, considering you want to play with your friends for hours and hours :)
For MMORPG, it focuses more on teamwork on doing tasks such as defeating bosses.

But the main genre is, RPG.

For sure RPGs more specifically SPRPGs, but I like the other ones too as long as they have singleplayer capabilities. I like The Chosen Ones, The Legend of Magnador, and Gaia's, and Shadows of the Past the best.

I would choose most of the time, APproject's single player Maps. They may be single but interesting because of the realistic terrain it has and a good gameplay it has. His games are not just about Hack N Slash but also tests our mind like some puzzles in his game.

If I were to choose one of his maps, I would go with Seth's Reign for the reason that it has a good terrain, good plot or storyline (a unique one if I must say), Puzzles (which engages the mind to think harder to solve puzzles and continue), and lastly, the awesome bosses this game has. The bosses are not just that you attack and attack and attack, use skill and dead. All bosses overpowers you and you must find a way to defeat them.

Seth's Reign

Also to add in RPG games there are lot to discovers that makes the map more thrilling and great. Mostly, getting items such as Equips is what makes RPG fun.

And today, with the RPG Systems we have here in hive, it makes the future RPGs here better.

Grinding items with better numbers still preserving the same combat tactics is fun? I mean most rpgs I have seen here possess very plain, standard hack'n'slay plus similar cliché stories and themes. And yeah, dunno why you would prefer them to the range of commercial rpgs contentwise.
