Apparently Blizzard decided to send to Starcraft II Beta testers a free copy of WoW with a 30-day subscription included. If you don't have the mail you might have to look for it in your spambox.

I've read that quite a few people got this e-mail and are interested in playing the game for the duration so now I'd like to use this thread to check who is playing or is planning to play, with what username and on what server (and not to discuss whether it's a good or bad game; everyone is free not to join in ). Now I thought it would be nice if we could get the Hive on a single server and preferably starting at around the same time (even though I have no idea if I'll be able to join in). :3

I think that goes for the majority of the Hive. I'm not really sure how active I will be, but I thought it'd be nice to arrange a Hive-server. Anyway, it's up to you.

I like the Tauren, however Trolls and Orcs start at the same location (to my knowledge).

Honestly, 30 days is not a HUGE period and I wont play it after expiration. In addition, we'll be playing Classic, not BC, WotLK or Cata, so there's like... 1\5 as much content.
I don't think many of us will get addicted and start playing it indefinitely.

lol what a tease.. i mean its cool that blizzard is doing this but i already own all there games.. i havent played wow in a few months and just check my account and they are giving me a week free time because i been offline for a while.. which is cool, but little do they know is when im not logged into Battle.Net im still always playing or modding blizzard games..

yo everyone who is saying to create a account and take over servers lemme know whats going on the main reason i got off WOW was there was alot of assholes playing (Excuse me hive for my language but its the best way i can describe). so if the hive wants to start a guild and take over just holla at me n lemme kno.... Debode you already know Horde all the way...

P.S i just hope they stop making expansions for WOW before there is no room left for a story in warcraft 4...

Ye I know when you farm epics you are actually doing them for nothing because they arent real.

But that happens in TEH REAL LIFEZ too. You will always lose something. Even when you die. Everything is actually lost. Why the hell did you bother studying and working so hard for nothing? I mean are you really dumb or something. Living only to die? Yeah you see that this is really not cool way to think about things.

I just thought that you would think like that because you said "for nothing".

Otherwise, yes, if you dont enjoy the game then dont play it. Spending time well is about doing things that you like to do.

I was sc2 beta tester and I didnt get an email, nor I would play WoW. Would've been better if those guesst keys were more worthy than some 7 days to have made them 30 days to be worth giving a friend. And i think you should select Warcraft in the Beta fields about what games ur interested to test. Last year I unchecked that knowing that I dont need to follow Warcraft since i dont play WoW but didnt forget to check Diablo cause I would sure love to test D3

Hm, to me it seems that everybody who bought (well, registered) Starcraft II got this possibility. This might explain why Imtor, who was a SC2 beta tester, did not get the e-mail.
Anyways, as the most guys here, I'm not interested in playing WoW. So I just don't start it, gifted or not.

Well still Echo Isles if anyone hasn't played yet, is the new Jungle Troll starting zone for anyone who has Cataclysm, and everything is great as well.
I use to have a blood elf paladin on my cousin's account before, but he closed for not playing anymore. MEH....

Frankly, I found WoW to be a rather dull excuse to milk nerds for their money. I could barely read that post due to the horrific grammar and spelling it contained, no doubt due to the amount of time spent on WoW by yourself.

I went through this thinking you were talking about trail mix... Then it dawned on me. As well as playing a game plumbed from the depths of Activision's septic tank, you seem to be using a browser without any spell checking function. I recently discovered I did not get any email at all.
Now here's the thing, if you logon to battle.net site through the sc2 page (http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/ or http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/ or w/e) you will see a small square saying "Starcraft II player exclusive, world of warcraft free full game, click to claim".

So don't be fooled if you don't have gotten an email, all sc2 players should have gotten one!

Wow.... I play it I don't like it I still play it, creeps me out. Well just leveling a character reading the quests following the questline is quite fun to about level 40 where it starts getting boring. Although the end content are quite fun raiding for example I mean who wouldn't wanna kill a huge dragon with all your friends? But then again Wow is just loaded with douches which sucks.

ok WOW is makin a lil bit of sense now listen to this.. see how deathwing is destroying the world guess where they are gonna go next.. probably "emerald dream" because azeroth is gonna wind up getting most of it destroyed... But like i said Blizzard, the burning crusade should of been Warcraft 4 story, wrath of the lich king as warcraft 4 expansion. and now Cataclysm (Which could of been the 5th installment (if there was no WOW)) *sigh make WC4 already im getting Fuc*ing old.. but i must say that starcraft 2 is badass (protoss ) and Diablo 3 does look really good. so lemme stop my bitching. Emerald dream sounds like it may start in WoW soon...

Meh.. I have a level 85 horde druid on deathwing with almost full epic. (I haven't played in about a month though..). I would vote for deathwing xD It is a PvP server though.

No offence to anyone but fightning against dragons is pretty dumb.

Theres even a guild on Stormscale called PVE IS HARD, if I remember right. They are all PVPers and no one of them have any "real" PVE experience but they still managed to down ICC so yeah I guess its pretty hard then huh.

And if you gonna roll just for 30 days or so go for "recommended" realms. Because they are full of low lvls.

Hmmm, I don't think I have mine yet. I was in beta and have yet to recieve the email. Sure it's all Beta users or just a select few? I wasn't able to play more than vs AI games due to the restrictions my computer had at the time so maybe that's why? *shrug*

Depends if you like the game or not.
I have played back and forth since the european beta release. I currently have 3 active months of playtime, and I am in a serious raiding guild that raid 3 times every week, about about 2-4 hours each time. We are in the top 5 PvE guilds on the server..
Yet I only play wow about 5-10 hours a week, I only logon to raid at the moment, as I spend all my time working on sc2 maps. I would still not say that it does not have much potential.. I have 50 days playtime on 1 of my characters that I made a year ago.
