I'm looking for a tutorial or help with creating a trigger that makes it possible to write foreksample "-give 1 5" as in "-give "player 1" "5" gold"... I searched but didn't find anything.

I'll appreaciate any help!

kkots: To create a message on the ground, u use this function (example):

  • Floating text
  • Events: Map initialization
  • Conditions:
  • Actions: Floating Text - Create floating text that reads Hello!! at (Center of Region 000 <gen>) with Z offset 0.00, using font size 10.00, color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%), and 0.00% transparency
I don't know how to do the other thing u said, andi have never seen it.

PurplePoot: I don't get it:
It's a glitch with wc3, it loads those strings the game after the one that changed them

And why is it a bad idea?:
(thus it's a bad idea to change the strings at all)

If i have to, i will use a dialog, but it will look pretty bad i think since there will be 4 all-custom races.

it's a bad idea because you play your custom map when selecting the human race which actually is now the Lolz0r race but still called the humans. So I play my game. The next thing I do is play an oridinary melee map. So let's say I want to play orc... But hey, I can't select Orc, I can only select Lolz0r of R0flcopter... Ok, so then I'll select Roflcopter.
When my game starts, I'm ofcourse playing with orc, but it's called the "roflcopter" race...

that's what I think he means

Hey, you guys know when your sending resources to your allies.. For each click you send 100, right? How can I change each click to 2?

I changed the "Ally Trading increment" to 2 from a default of 100 in the gameplay constants, but it still doesn't work yet..
