The resource section search has major problems I find.
For example search for "heroes and empires"...
You will notice that other maps have higher relvancy and thus are higher on the list than the map which is actually called heroes and empires in the tital...
This is not how a map search should work... If I want to find a map, ill enter in text simlar to its ingame tital and I expect it to be nearish the top. Currently the map "AoE - Age of War 0.6 " is appearing above the map "Heroes and Empires v7.3 " as being more relavent when searched for "heroes and empires" which makes no sense as one clearly has the search term inside the map title while the other has absolutly no words from the search term in its title.
I am sure all this search makes perfect sense mathimatically and programatically, but I am trying to raise the point that it really is not effective and is a major falling point of this site. I think a large problem is it loves to read in keywords and text on the main post rather than the actual map titles, which gives obscure and undesired results.
Compair it to the search that mapgnome uses, there you type in heroes and empires and huge lists of maps which are called heroes and empires appear and no other maps. Yes you could try filling in other possible simlar maps with a revelency factor, but maps who are called heroes and empires should appear at the top, not somewhere half way down the list below some entires which have none of the search terms in their title.
Note that this does not only happen for a search of "heroes and empires", but also for "Impossible Siege".
There is a map called "Impossible Siege", so saerching for "Impossible Siege" should yield the map near the top of the list.... Well our search does not, currently the map appears on page 6. Yes a map whos title almost solely consists of the search terms is appearing lower and "less relevent" than a map called "Bombing Frenzy 1.0" which seems nowhere near related to "Impossible Siege".
Thus I conclude. The map search currently seems broken.
