But, it says he joined in April, what is this sorcery?! Stop lying, Deo, you're not four yet! But in four months and a week, then we can celebrate.

I got to sleep in today, my friend Jake is coming over for his birthday to smoke some birthday blunts and watch 30 Minutes or Less. Later I'm probably going to move some more stuff into my apartment, then go to an art bazaar with another friend. Oh, and tonight an old friend from high school just finished up with college early and wants to celebrate with me with a bottle of bacardi. I've got a good hunch she'll be spending the night. :ogre_datass:

Been working on my portfolio website. I've mainly worked on implementing a simple gallery feature so far that I will put into a more thorough design. [link]

Oh, and I've been listening to Nightwish Imaginaerum, the new album, pretty much all night. Before that I listened to Korn The Path of Totality, also a new album. I didn't actually do any investigation as to what I could expect from either album, but I must say it surprised me how much Korn's album smells of pop and techno - the metal is almost entirely lost. The only good part, for my taste, is that Jonathan Davis has some more tracks where he uses vocal as an instrument rather than, well, text. Nightwish's album was pretty much as expected. Anette(?), the "new" vocalist, has improved a lot, though, and Marco Hietala seems to do a lot more vocals than usual. I like it a lot. It has that epic Nightwish sound, and it's still different from other, big symphonic metal bands such as Epica and Within Temptation. To be honest, this album has regained Nightwish's position as my favourite symphonic metal band. Within Temptation, however, somewhat disappointed with the latest album.

Had some boring egg pasta with pesto and ham for (midnight) dinner. I might've boiled the pasta too hard or too long.

Busy, but ineffective day.

I told people they won't get their Apple by Christmas. Oh noes. Sorry. Obviously being an efficient company we do our 0% financing only RIGHT BEFORE Christmas when there's absolutely no time to process tens of thousands of applications before that date. And iPhone 4S, why did that have to get published RIGHT BEFORE Christmas as well. They still can't keep that worthless product in stock.

Characters -> factions -> world (-> universe).

Sheesh, guys.

(Universe in parenthesis because it's only really necessary in sci-fi; I wouldn't call Middle Earth a universe)

I was really sick today- I still went to school though ;/

It was a very interesting day: (An FML moment)

We had an arabic quiz that I didn't study for and a history test that I barely studied for.
I said to myself: Who cares about that quiz, the test is more important.
And so, I spent a lot of my time studying for that history test, and I failed the arabic quiz.
I would've studied for both, but Arabic was first period and History was right after it.

I was ready for that History test; As ready as anyone would be if he actually studied daily
for it (Good thing I was listening in class and taking notes during the past few weeks).

The history teacher was late. Our History teacher is really laid-back, and he's pretty cool.

We were all waiting for him for like 5 minutes before we assumed he's going to be absent.
He actually came into class 35 minutes later and we only had 5 minutes left for the period -__-
He rescheduled the exam for Friday...

I failed that Arabic quiz for nothing >_<
FML.

So yeah, put together the basic layout of my portfolio website. Now I'll just need to find a suitable video that I can embed and the requirements are pretty much met. Will need to write a report and substitute the lorem ipsum with actual information, too. I really should do more art, though, the gallery is so small. :V

Feel free to check if it works for you, in your browser. If it deviates from what you see in the picture below, I would appreciate if you take a screen capture of it and VM/PM me about it.

preview.png

It's supposed to be centred. The width is fixed to 758 pixels, and the height to 800 pixels. Hovering over the images in the gallery will make them clearer. Clicking an image should display it with LightBox, and you should be able to go to the next or previous image using arrow keys or the buttons showing up when hovering over the left or right edge of the image.

In other news, I had tasteless meatballs for dinner, I'll be sure not to buy those again. The newly arrived snow is about to melt outside. Useless weather, eh.

Played some League of Legends through the course of the last few days. Somehow succumbed to the temptation of buying a couple skins - ie spending hard cash on an otherwise free to play game.

Me gusta.

Also bought Baron Von Veigar. :D

Your site seems to work properly in Firefox 8.

Is that skin a Skyrim reference or is it just me?

----

Been playing some LoL in the past few days.
I have 550 RP and have no clue what skin to buy. Been using a lot of MF, Janna, Sona, Leona.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, the green is meant to be glaring enough so I remember to replace it when I apply the graphics. I don't really want to space out the thumbnails, so I guess I'll just have to do ten or twenty artworks by Friday morning. :D

I know, TWIF, I think I said something about betraying myself, myself, myself, Goblin, Dio and you every second I spend playing LoL. But these bastards in chat are all too manipulative. D:

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY NEIGHBOURS? Late night sex against my wall. Drilling fucking holes in the wall all morning. Oh, yeah, and the unending desire to hammer in the floor?!

Played the Red Faction: Armageddon trial onLive. It's actually a lot of fun, now I'm not sure if I should get Space Marine, Red Faction or Skyrim :S

RF games weren't THAT good before Armageddon, so you should probably get SPEHHS MEHREEN or Skyrim.

If you get SPEHHS MEHREEN, you better tell me about it.

Is Skyrim worth playing?
I want to know if it before I buy it.
Else, I'll just buy Red Dead Redemption.

Both games have pretty shallow combat systems; differences are negligible, except in RDD you can only shoot things while in Skyrim you have 3 options.

Arguably, RDD has a better (and longer) main plot, but due to lack of diversity, it'll run dry a lot earlier than Skyrim (which also has more and deeper side-quests), meaning you'll get more gameplay hours out of the latter.

I'd say go for Skyrim, personally, but if you like the shootey genre more, RDD is probably the better choice.
