What OS does you use in your PC/Laptop?

While reading this thread, I got pretty curious to what OS hivers use these days. So I made this thread.

Voted for Windows XP (I use it on my PC) and Windows 7 (Starter Edition, on my laptop)

I have Windows 7 shitty... I mean, starter edition and Linux mint mate edition. I DO love linux!!!!

I use Windows only for modding games.

Linux is the umbrella term for different linux distributions (like ubuntu, fedora), so it should be "1. ubuntu, 2. fedora, 3. other linux distros".
(Technically linux is only the kernel, but the term is used as an umbrella term for distributions too).

Anyway i voted for Linux, but i have Windows 8.1 too - mostly for mapping.

Ubuntu, Fedora, Mint (and a whole lot more) are all different linux distibutions.

Me personally I currently use Windows 8 (yuck) because of driver incompatabilities with other operating systems, but I'm planning to switch to Ubuntu 14.04 sooner or later.

Mac OS X. I've used Ubuntu, but OS X suits my UNIX needs. If I had only a windows machine, I'd probably dual Windows and Ubuntu, but atm I like OS X more than Ubuntu. The OS is really amazing, especially for working/programming. I can't really go back to Windows except for modding.

i use xp on 1 pc, 2000 on 1 pc, vista on 3 pcs(1 desktop and 2 laptops), windows 95 on 2 older desktops, 98 on 2 desktops and windows 7 on my newest pcs.

I had Windows 8 on a Lenovo b490 which got a little damaged after getting struck by lightning and a Dell Latitude 3330 which has a Windows 7. Looking forward to Windows 9.

Main OS is OS X but with bootcamp I also run Windows 7. So Windows 7 and OS X.

Mac OS X...The OS is really amazing, especially for working/programming. I can't really go back to Windows except for modding.

I must be using OS X wrong then--I've never felt particularly encouraged to do coding in it. I recall I had to download a separate patch just so I can use the Python IDLE interpreter in Retina, which didn't leave a good taste in my mouth.

Microsoft DOS is not in the poll so I putted other (among my others clicks).
Also does the poll consider Windows XP 32 is the same than Windows XP 64?
The reason I voted for so many os is that I change place often and use other people computers(with their allowance)
