MiniMage: While the concept of this model is rather silly, with the old man running like he was young and swinging his sword, I would want you to to lower the size of the sword. It just looks weird when the hero carries a blade that big. About 10-20% reduction should do the trick.

MiniMage: Did you update with the right model? Because I can't really see any changes. The sword is still too big.

MiniMage: I still find it too be rather big. However, any smaller and it would look like a kitchen knife, so this will do. Approved.

Greetings.
First thought= I think it's orcish face but ah.. a human face.
Can you replace those ''tall flags'' with something else?
Something better for Ujimasa Hojo model.

I think this is very good! It fits WC3 nicely, great use of ingame textures.

Now I don't wanna start something here, but I must admit I'm not always a fan of how you moderate resources MiniMage. It seems that more often than not you moderate based on your personal preference rather than the actual quality of the model.
You've given this model a rating of 2, not because it is actually lacking, but because you don't like the concept and find the sword too big. This is not objective moderating in my opinion.

Your responsibility as a moderator is not to judge the concept of a model but rather to judge the technical quality of a model. Texture stretching, visible seams, clipping, quality of the animation etc.

This model doesn't really have a problem on any of these fronts. Only the fact that he's an old man running around like a young guy, with a large sword.
But maybe this is just the concept the author was going for?
Maybe this is a Zen master who uses Chi to gain youthful strength? About the sword size, this a concept thing again. Say someone were to make a model with a guy wielding the Ashbringer. That sword is bigger than the one here, but it works because that's part of the concept. Since Warcraft has a very distinct art style, blown out proportions don't just work, they are actually necessary for the model to look good ingame. It doesn't really warrant a low score.

Now I'm not saying this model deserves a DC, I'm just saying that just because you don't like the concept doesn't mean that the model is lacking in any way.

Woah. This model was moderated way back. Just been dusting up resources lately. It's just your typical mesh transplant and animation transfer. I do believe people who come up with original meshes and original animation deserve more praise.

Whoops, I didn't notice that hehe :p
Well my point still stands. I do agree that original mesh and animation should receive higher ratings, but in my opinion it shouldn't make the difference between a 2/5 and 3/5. I'd say that simple model edits can definately be awarded a 3/5 because of usefulness. I don't think this model is a 2/5 and nor do I think it's 'lacking'.
And my comments were mostly directed at the reasons the moderator gave for the rating, not the rating itself.

Anyway, I apologize for necro-ing. I didn't check the date before posting, sorry about that.

Ujimasa Hojo is a decent model, but the sword's size is ridiculous when you look at the wielder's size. But yeah, i rate it 4/5,even the sword's size is just ridiculous :ogre_hurrhurr:.

Ah! How about a Apothecary-esque unit/hero for a Forsaken one then? The Acolyte's head and Texture could potentialy do well for this purpose. Much like the Mounted Gul'dan model, this Forsaken Apothecary could be riding a steed as well? The Apothecary Abomination combo you did for the Alchemist derivatives and The Apothecary you did for the Jaina derivaties could maybe use a new more hunched and malformed colleague, no?
