Thanks! You need the original game in order to use this though. I'm only distributing slightly edited versions of the campaign maps really.
I have no idea what might be causing that, sorry. The .exe should be able to launch from anywhere, as long as (legal) TFT is properly installed (not from inside an archive though, maybe that's the problem?)I have done everything described in Readme file, but when I trying to launch the program, I have an error: "Unable to locate the target patch". I have Windows 7 if that matters.
what exactly is the problem?i dont understand how this works tried everything but dont undesrtand it sorry for bad grammar but pl
the "Maps" folder in the archive is the same "Maps" folder from WC3. I.e. the contents of the "Maps" folder in the archive should be placed in "Maps" folder in your WC3 installation.I can't get this to work . I tried putting the Maps folder into both Maps and Campaigns, and it still doesn't work. Do I need to place the individual maps into campaign? This is a really cool idea to not have to switch back and forth, someone please help me!
Edit: I also placed the individual files into campaigns, and it still says they're corrupted or unavailable.
As far as I know this can't be achieved with a .w3n. This tool modifies amongst others the CampaignStrings_ex.txt file. Feel free to use this tool as an example, the .exe can be opened like an MPQ file.Hi loktar ! May u ask you something?
I'm thinking about making four individual campaigns (I mean four campaigns)! So I could just post every campaign by itself! But the problem is about the story and events which give me an idea! So how about compress those 4 campaigns inside only ONE campaign.w3n
In that campaign.w3n you can find various campaigns inside! like you open warcraft 3 : Reign of choas or TFT. So all I'm asking is how to do so with this ''tool'' that's you made ?
Thank you in advance!...
I wasn't aware that happened, and I have no idea what could be causing it, except maybe a recent patch or something?I huge bug that keeps me from using this. Debuffs and buffs are not shown on any units when using this. Any fix would makes it a viable default launcher.
I have done everything described in Readme file, but when I trying to launch the program, I have an error: "Unable to locate the target patch". I have Windows 7 if that matters.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm kind of slowly redoing the mod atm, so I'll check those things out and see if I can fix them.
As for the last one, that's weird. I remember messing around with that a bit, but I thought I removed that. There should be a trigger in the last Undead RoC mission that enables it, you should be able to remove it.
You should also be able to edit the entry in UI\CampaignStrings_exp.txt in the .exe (can be opened like an .mpq). You should only edit the entry so that it's empty though. Changing the order there could mess up the campaign triggers for the rest of the campaigns.
(not from inside an archive though, maybe that's the problem?)
