While it may be difficult to get the Hosted Project campaigns implemented, I suggest you contact GG&K and ask for permission to add his/her/their Dwarf Campaign.
It's a short campaign, but it really really good.

Link to the campaign:
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...424/?prev=search=dwarf%20campaign&d=list&r=20

Edit:
Oh. And a quite mod this is. I can really see this being useful if you get the permission to add more campaign.

A thought. Would it be possible to make the user add campaigns on his own? I guess that way you don't need permissions, because it's local.
And that way the user could control which campaigns should show up in the menu.

Thanks, it does look really good. I'll add it to the list :D Currently, I'm working on implementing OutsiderEXE's The Last Guardian. Next I'll probably move on to his Day of the Dragon and Lord of the Clans first. I may see about getting GG&K's permission in the meantime already though. Maybe I'll want to "take a break" with a shorter, easier campaign.

So yeah, I'm hoping to turn this into something I'll probably call "Warcraft: Chronicles"

That's a neat idea, but unfortunately it's quite a lot of work to implement campaigns. The trouble is, campaign files aren't supported, so you have to merge object data into each map, change triggers, etc.
I would like to post a guide on how to do it though, so possibly people can send me their campaigns (already implemented) so I can add it to the main release.
I'd like this to be an "open source" project in the future, but I guess that depends on the amount of interest ^^

I don't know why it says the file maps are corrupted when I try to load the maps for the Warcraft III Bundle. :/

You know what is funny thanks to Trax I got it to work and its awesome.
I suggest changing the Sea Witch to hero stats to have her attack with hero attack and same with the Murloc Sorcerer. Also if its no problem can you can change the guardians to spell damage or even chaos damage?

I can't get this to work :(. I tried putting the Maps folder into both Maps and Campaigns, and it still doesn't work. Do I need to place the individual maps into campaign? This is a really cool idea to not have to switch back and forth, someone please help me!

Edit: I also placed the individual files into campaigns, and it still says they're corrupted or unavailable.

Hi loktar ! May u ask you something?
I'm thinking about making four individual campaigns (I mean four campaigns)! So I could just post every campaign by itself! But the problem is about the story and events which give me an idea! So how about compress those 4 campaigns inside only ONE campaign.w3n
In that campaign.w3n you can find various campaigns inside! like you open warcraft 3 : Reign of choas or TFT. So all I'm asking is how to do so with this ''tool'' that's you made ?

Thank you in advance!...

I have done everything described in Readme file, but when I trying to launch the program, I have an error: "Unable to locate the target patch". I have Windows 7 if that matters.
I have no idea what might be causing that, sorry. The .exe should be able to launch from anywhere, as long as (legal) TFT is properly installed (not from inside an archive though, maybe that's the problem?)

i dont understand how this works tried everything but dont undesrtand it sorry for bad grammar but pl
what exactly is the problem?

the "Maps" folder in the archive is the same "Maps" folder from WC3. I.e. the contents of the "Maps" folder in the archive should be placed in "Maps" folder in your WC3 installation.
The folder structure should NOT be e.g. "[WC3]\Maps\Maps\Campaigns\RoC", but it SHOULD be e.g. "[WC3]\Maps\Campaigns\RoC"

As far as I know this can't be achieved with a .w3n. This tool modifies amongst others the CampaignStrings_ex.txt file. Feel free to use this tool as an example, the .exe can be opened like an MPQ file.

I huge bug that keeps me from using this. Debuffs and buffs are not shown on any units when using this. Any fix would makes it a viable default launcher.
I wasn't aware that happened, and I have no idea what could be causing it, except maybe a recent patch or something?
Anyway, I'm not planning on updating this anytime soon, if ever. Sorry.

Running as administrator should fix this. If not, try taking ownership of the WC3 folder, and ticking "Run as Administrator" in the compatibility tab of Frozen Throne.exe

Im playing this mod right now, and I like the idea.
Especially I love the Prologue Orc campaign being complete now.

Im in the middle of the NE RoC Campaign and I have also noticed some bugs:
- In the Medivh warning cutscenes (Arthas and Dalaran), Medivh wont completely fly away at the end, you can see either his shadow, or even partly his bird form.
- In The Dreadlords Convene cutscene, the two dreadlords and the acolytes wont teleport in. I kinda fixed it, by placing them next to Tichondrius from the start so that the poor guy wont talk to himself. I was too lazy when I did it and I didnt look at the triggers.
- In The Hunter of Shadows Mission, orc shamans have both shaman and warlock skills from the start.
- The NE Ballista has the old ballista model but fires glaives. (Maybe change it to Abilities\Weapons\BallistaMissile\BallistaMissile.mdl)
- The thing that bugs me most though since I dont know how to fix it, is that after I finished the Undead RoC Campaign, Act Two Tides of Darkness (which only has a non existant Test level) shows now at the Act selection screen. I'd be happy to know how I can hide it again.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm kind of slowly redoing the mod atm, so I'll check those things out and see if I can fix them.

As for the last one, that's weird. I remember messing around with that a bit, but I thought I removed that. There should be a trigger in the last Undead RoC mission that enables it, you should be able to remove it.
You should also be able to edit the entry in UI\CampaignStrings_exp.txt in the .exe (can be opened like an .mpq). You should only edit the entry so that it's empty though. Changing the order there could mess up the campaign triggers for the rest of the campaigns.

Thanks for the answer, I'll look into that.

One thing I also noticed: buffs and debuffs icons aren't visible in the status bar of the units.

And good to hear you're working on it :)

Might I suggest adding some TfT features to RoC campaigns?
We already have units limit of 100 with this mod, maybe also add some units like the Spirit Walker to the Orc techtree in the RoC Campaign after the Tauren join the Horde or the skeleton mages for the Undead.
But still it would be nice if you would keep the original RoC models in RoC campaigns like the Siege Tank and Ballista, as it is right now.

The buffs bug should be fixed in the next version. Don't know what caused it previously, but it seems to work properly now.

I don't really want to modify the tech trees for RoC. In the next version, murlocs will even lack spikes like they did originally, so I'd like to keep that kind of thing like it was originally. I'm open for suggestions though.
I would like to fix inconsistencies between RoC and TFT. For example, I think there's a flashback in TFT somewhere to a scene in RoC, but much more detailed. Although I don't remember what exactly :p But in such cases I'd like to put the TFT version in RoC.

Oh, by the way, could you maybe provide the exact map/mission names for the bugs you posted earlier?

- in Human02Interlude "Jaina's Meeting" you can see Medivh's shadow returning shortly after he flies away and Jaina appear out of invisibility.
- Human05Interlude "The Prince and the Prophet": Medivh returns again after flying away and Jaina appears again, this time you can see his bird form above Arthas and Jaina (It seems both mages like to eavesdrop a lot :)).
- the first Undead interlude Undead02Interlude "The Dreadlords Convene", as mentioned the two dreadlords wont teleport to Tichondrius.
- Orc05 "The Hunter of Shadows" has the shaman abilities bug
- In all night elf missions the Ballista fires glaives, in the last mission NightElf07 it also has the Glaive Thrower model.
- in NightElf01 "Enemies at the Gate" in the intro Shandris has the default Archer model instead of her own model.

I havent played the TfT Campaigns yet, but I think I will finish them soon and will report any bugs I find.

EDIT: that said, last time I played the campaigns was like 4 or 5 years ago and there might be some minor details I didn't notice.

Ive finished the NE TFT campaign and have found no bugs in the campaign itself. But in the campaign selection screen when you have the TFT backgrounds, you can often hear both the TFT and RoC menu music.

As for other campaigns, Im pretty sure there wont be any more mission specific bugs. The RoC ones were most likely due to RoC designed missions being runned on TFT, though I dont know for sure. If I find any bugs Ill post them here.

EDIT: The secret level in the Human campaign did not unlock although I got the powerup in the room with flying sheeps (in level HumanX03).

Havent noticed any more bugs in the main TFT campaigns, however the Rexxar campaign seems to be broken. After exiting the Thunder Ridge while doing the first DrekThar quest I was sent to the start of Act One with Rexxar talking to Misha and an orc fighting quillboards again. I guess same would happen with other submaps too. Moreover it seems there are only map files for Act One present in the \maps\campaigns folder, maps for the other two Acts are missing.

I was wondering about that one. Strange that the maps are missing. Don't know where I was with my head back then :p

It's been slow going, but I've finished redoing the Prologue campaign. Been having some troubles, but I managed to solve them. Also combined the witch doctor and shadow hunter models for Sen'Jin (just need to fix some animations). Should be a nice little upgrade. I also found a suitable model on here for Vol'Jin for the bonus campaign :p

Rest of the RoC campaigns should be more straight-forward, and the TFT campaigns should (hopefully) be no work at all.
I'll let you know if/when I fix the bugs you reported.

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's suitable for that? I don't know if it's supposed to be a naga siren instead of just some witch. Could be a nice idea though. Certainly don't want to go too far with changes to the original campaigns.

I've run into some trouble with the ROC campaigns, so it's slowed down a bit. Apparently custom unit data (txt and slk) in a SEMPQ overrides the data files (txt and slk) in a map file. So now I have to manually put all the ROC data in a map's object editor, export it, and then import into the campaign maps.

After a big detour making a model for http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/senjin-witch-doctor-hero-273465/, making a new logo and improving on the http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/reign-chaos-beta-3d-background-274549/ to be used in the main menu, I've gotten back to reimplementing the campaigns.
Prologue is now finally pretty much finished, so I'll be getting to the human campaign soon. Will be posting some updates about the bugs that were reported :)

Human 02 Interlude (Jaina's Meeting): Medivh's shadow appearing again shortly after he flies away - fixed.
