Map Description


Violet Outpost was one of many Dalaran's defences located in Silverpine Forest. However, after the destruction of Dalaran there was noone left to defend it, leaving it open for anybody. Are you powerful enought to take it for yourself? Only time will tell.

Violet Outpost is a small map for 1v1.

Contains:
-12 500g base (2x) 12 500g exp(4x)
- 8 green camps
- 10 orange camps
- 2 red camps
- 1 Tavern
- 2 Goblin Merchants
- 2 Goblin Laboratories​

    • Map Uploaded.

    • Swaped Red Camp with Orange Camp since it was too close to main.
    • Changed the murloc green camp, so it is not so easy for undead.
    • Cleared out the GobLab area for easier AoW creeping.

    • Made Dalaran building invulnerable. (Players can't click on them in game.)

This map was created for 1v1 melee contest. I tried to implement custom, - Dalaran Winter theme to it!

1. Night Elves could potentially gain faster XP using Ancients of War on the nearby red camp. It's not an easy task though. 2. Should place aerial pathing blockers around the towers that go beyond the screen to avoid those units passing through them...

3. I think the two expansions for each player are too close each other. One of them should maybe either have less gold or stronger defenders.

It's good that it has wide spaces and somewhat many routes to places. Makes larger army battles viable while disables cheeky retreats.
