I was wondering how people like the maker of Nintendo TD and Naruto Wars take pictures of their characters and make them icons in game. Well what I am really wondering is what size the icon has to be (so i can make it in GIMP) and how to import it into the game. This will greatly help my Video Game Maul Wars... thank you in advance.

What game are your icons for, I don't understand? If wc then 64x64.

And maybe get the package of the filter ICONS first, and create them/ paste your images inside your borders, or whatever you want to do with them ...
