Units Animation Problem!

i have got a problem, i cant solve:

i made a custom hero which changes with a modified 'metamorphosis' skill into a wc3 phoenix...

The Problem: everytime the morphed phoenix is standing, he plays the 'stand alternate' animation
which looks crappy because hes an egg ..:hohum:

i just wanted him to use his normal 'stand' animation and i tried a lot, but that doesnt worked...

so pls pls help me

Hmm :/ i can't say that i've tried this, but my logic tells me, that when the metamorphosis is cast, it's always alternate that's displayed. There might be a solution, if you can get the phoenix model out, you might be able to remove the alternate stands. But it's too much work, i reckon. It's all i can do :/

    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Metamorphosis
    • Actions
      • Unit - Replace (Triggering unit) with a Phoenix using The old unit's life and mana
You could do something like that, where as the Phoenix here is the same hero but with a different model but the same skills level exp etc...

I dunno, i didn't put to much thought in it but maybe it works maybe it doesn't.
 
Leaks are fixable, and as long as its possible it should be okay because he told us it didn't matter how much work it was.

    • Conditions
      • It doesn't matter how much work it is to fix the problem as long as its possible.
    • Actions
      • A THW member gives a solution
Or something like that :grin:
