I think you have to hold ctrl down and then drag the hands away or something like that.

Just hold Ctrl while holding the limb. Make sure to remove hands or feet first.

Go into Test Drive, set the background to the black one, then take some pictures and Archive them. Then they're in My Documents/My Spore Creations.

It's actually called "Concentrated Ball of Fail", because of how ridiculously ugly it looks when it walks. It's also very strange to see it launch poison everywhere...
