General Introduction

245014-albums8117-picture97257.jpg
This is a WCIII custom campaign presented by my group Destiny Studios, which is named after the campaign series - The Road of Destiny. The first of the series, Lonely Star of Ashenvale, has been produced and presented hereby.

245014-albums8117-picture97258.jpg
The campaign is about Night Elves after The Frozen Throne. Our story begins as the Warsong Clan launch an attack on Southern Ashenvale. The heroine is called Kastie Moonsong, a former family member of Shandris Feathermoon but now has been on her own. The campaign shows her experiences during the war between night elves and orcs. As she engages deeper and deeper in the war something unusual will be uncovered and she will eventually decide to march on her lonely road to seek destiny.

245014-albums8117-picture97259.jpg
Kastie has many friends, though, at least before she choose her lonely road of destiny. Therefore we have a few supporting roles in the campaign. These heros and heroines will not show up all together in a single chapter, but separately in several chapters, creating different combinations with Kastie for different types of tasks.

245014-albums8117-picture97260.jpg
Except for a couple of RTS quests that are not very complicated, most of the main quests are RPG type. You control one or multiple heroes to accomplish the request of an NPC, and to conquer bosses in your way. Some of the bosses will be really tough. Fortunately there're lots of unnoticeable trinkets hidden in the maps that, if you are carefully enough to find them, can be combined into mighty artifacts which help greatly in the boss fights.

245014-albums8117-picture97261.jpg
Satyrs, the major foes in Chapter One, provide actually the easiest boss fight through out the campaign. Though their strike on the night elves may pull you back from leisure all of a sudden and push you into a fluster. In the following few chapters, facing much harder bosses one after another you may feel frustrated in the boss fights but trust me, as long as you think carefully enough you'll always find the key to the problem. Know that some of my testers never use the keyboard but still win the hardest boss fight through outmanovouring.

245014-albums8117-picture97262.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97263.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97264.jpg
When you're not fighting tough enemies, I would suggest that you enjoy the beautiful landscape on your way. The Landscape is one of my proudest work, especially those in Chapter One and Five showing Teldrassil and Astranaar, respectively. I won't boast more but you'll see them once you enter the maps.

245014-albums8117-picture97265.jpg
Some NPCs do not provide tasks. Instead, they tell you background stories that are not mentioned in the quests but you may be interested in. Some NPCs just talk to you and make amusing dialogues. You may also try to find other uses for them, like this one - do you feel difficult to tackle the creeps when Kastie is at low level? Want a helper?

245014-albums8117-picture97266.jpg
Kastie is not the only one who has stories. As her story goes it comes across the stories of others'. The supporting roles may recall and tell you their experiences, which lead you to submaps with different style of landscape and different heroes, and perhaps rewards. To help the quest go on smoother, I suggest you keep track of the story by checking the Message Log regularly, as some of the dialogue may be neglected in battle.

245014-albums8117-picture97267.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97268.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97269.jpg
There're optional quests in every chapter. Completing them may reward you with good items, bonus hero or new spells.

245014-albums8117-picture97270.jpg
There're also hidden quests in some chapters. The hidden quests won't show up in the quest list so you'll have to bear them in mind. The demonstrated one here is related to World of Warcraft. You may have heard a sad story about Cerellean Whiteclaw and his dead wife Anaya.

245014-albums8117-picture97271.jpg
Hereby I acknowledge Scipio, the translator in my group. It was because of him that the campaign can be posted in the Hive Workshop, as it was not in English originally. Without anyone else who could help on the translation, he worked on my whole campaign - the lines, the units, the item, the spells, and the effects ... all by himself. I appreciate his huge and elaborate efforts so much.

Summary of Features

Stories
The campaign includes all kinds of stories. The quests lead you into stories. The characters tell you their stories. Even items develop stories as they combine and upgrade. I hope you'll enjoy them, as I believe a campaign is not merely about fighting or gathering artifacts.

Music and Landscape
As mentioned above, the landscape is my pride. I'm also quite satisfied with the music. In the last few maps I fit the selected music with the plot. Hopefully these efforts provide you with better game experiences.

Custom Spells and Items
Most of the spells and items are self-designed. A lot of items can be upgraded to cast new spells or combined into mighty artifact that may change the tide of battle. The 2nd author of the campaign Floating Gravestone contributes to the design and optimization of spells and items.

Credits

The credit list of my group members is in-game. Here I don't repeat it but focus on credits out of my group.
I've chosen a few pieces of WOW music and so I'll give that credit to Blizzard.
I imported over 300 models and skins, most of which were from the Hive Workshop and so I acknowledge Hive Workshop as my model and skin provider. Unfortunately due to the huge amount of imported resources and the long time I worked on the campaign, most of the author names of the individual resources are missing - I don't remember which one is whose as they all mixed up together. As a remedy, I've rummaged through the imported files and made a credit list of resource names. Anyone of you who find the resource name of your creation in my list below, you have my thanks!

In case there may still be someone missing, if anyone of you find your creation used in my campaign but the resource name does not appear here, please contact me and I'll add you in with apology and double the mount of thanks to you!

Changelog

There are no important changes by now, only a few corrections in the lines.

Known Issues

I urge you to read this part before playing, and sincerely apologize for the bugs. They'll be fixed in an optimized version of this campaign later.

Chapter Five
In the quest "Bard Song", you must first go to Paris and then Jone, or there will be errors.
Something goes wrong with the item "Avatar of Chimaera". You can neither use it nor put it in lockers or backpacks, or there will be errors.

Submap - Phantom of the Snowland
Something goes wrong with Old Brann's spell "Hold Fire". You'd better not use it, or there will be errors.

Submap - The Summit of Time
In the quest "Six Hundred Threescore and Six", only when Kastie takes the anihilation matter can the quest be completed. If Armage takes it he must pass it to Kastie before time up, or the quest will fail.

Hints in General
Reading the tips on the loading screen of the maps could be helpful.
Save the game whenever the situation is favorable, or you have to restart the whole chapter when the tide reverses.
There're secrets hiding in seemingly impassible areas, such as tiny objects potentially useful or minor paths to unknown treasuries.
Cracking the barrels, cases, and stones may benefit you.
Items dropped from some enemies are chance dependent. You can try save-load to get what you prefer.
Items are not always the higher rank the better. You'll have to find what's suitable for you.

Below are specific hints in each map. For better game experiences, I don't suggest reading them unless you have to.

When dealing with the gate protected by wisps, if you can not get the arrow through them to hit the switch, free your mind - try to find another position to round the wisps, perhaps somewhere beside the gate.
The answer to the pandaren may confuse you. If you don't want to know more about it, just remember the correct answer is the second one. You can also try the wrong answer and see where the story goes, the loss is just a costume that can be made into extra backpacks.
Anaya's purple scarf is hidden below a huge tree near Angelor Star.
Red Maple is beside a huge tree near Daughter of Nature in the Oracle Glade. When asleep he appears like a common tree but you'll find his hit point bar when dragging your mouse here and there in the nearby region.

The quest of Naga is only available before Katherine's arrival. The Scythe Mint can be found beside the rightmost wind elemental.
Again, the answer to the one that seems to be a pandaren may confuse you. Just remember he's an enemy, so don't please him.

In the quest of assassination, you can try to remember the position of the orcish general and shoot him beyond the hill, you can keep a proper distance from him and click Hide immediately after shooting, or you can send summoned units against him. The key is to attack him without letting them see you.
In the quest of infiltration, at the place where the paladin hide himself, there's a Synthesis Stone Lv1.
In the quest of sabotage, if you smash down the trees below the camp using the demolishers, you'll find a secret region.
When helping Brann Bronzebeard get his pass back, to the right of the ogres there seems to be a wood but it's actually passible, leading to another secret region. There's a third secret region of which the entrance is close to a huge tree and is covered by bushes.
When destroying the siege equipments, you may see that the farseer in the camp has a Legendary Synthesis Stone. You may want it but he's too formidable to tackle. What can you do? First, try to draw the other orcs to you and slay them without alerting the farseer. After clearing the path to the outside, let Kastie go to Daughter of Nature who will cast invisibility on you. Return to the farseer and choose a proper position where he's stuck, and click Hide so that he'll never see you since the time stays at midnight in this chapter. Then capture the demolishers and use them to open a very narrow path in the trees below the camp, send the demolishers in and attack the farseer beyond the hill by smashing the ground until he dies, meanwhile use the paladin to block the other orcs out. Just be sure that the demolishers are not harming Kastie, and stop them in time so as not to destroy the item the farseer drops. This method is found by my testers and I admire their cleverness.
In the final boss fight, focus your fire on the death knight and neglect the orcs.

If you choose to slay the death knights, after finishing the optional quest and meet Katherine in the main quest, you can return to the Tauren Shaman for help and get this bonus hero for this chapter.
If you choose to track the death knights, as you reach the road full of mines there's a passible wood to your right that hides a Synthesis Stone Lv3.
After getting through the cave beyond the fountain of mana there will be no turning back. You'd better get ready for battle before entering.
After solving the Puzzle of Butterfies, if you'd like to go to the valley for a look, first enter the goblin's beverage factory, and then find the right cave to the valley.

There are many merchants selling various materials for item combination. Walk around and see what they have.
There are also combination materials hidden beneath the stones in Grove of the Ancients.
The case containing the reward of the eccentric requires a key, which is in the Bard Song grove near the pandarens and an ancient protector.

This is probably one of the longest and most complicated hidden quests. It runs throughout the campaign. The reward "Avatar of Chimaera" is mighty but also full of bugs. Here I must apologize for it. If you just want an artifact I won't suggest you even try it, but if you are interested in completing this hidden quest, please read the hints.

Chapter One
When helping Druid Ceredwyn fight the satyrs in one of the optional quests, you can walk along the river and find several water elementals. The largest one has a chance to drop an Essence of Water. There's a treant NPC nearby. Find him and receive a task to take the Essence of Water to the Woods of Chimaera where you'll obtain the Horn of Chimaera.

Chapter Three
In the orcish siege equipment camp you'll find a shining crystal in a barrel. In one of the secret regions there's a Wild Mur'gul that has a chance to drop a golden key. Besides, In the optional quest of helping Katherine on an investigation, you can find several fire elementals in the wood below after killing the lich. The largest one has a chance to drop a golden key as well. You can acquire the golden key from either one.

Chapter Four
No matter if you choose to slay or track the death knights, you'll find a yellow statue with a flowing circle somewhere. Take the crystal with you and enter the circle to get another crystal. Enter a secret region via a rotating way gate, break through Nagas and a huge rock elemental, open an elven gate using the golden key, take the two crystals with you and enter a flowing circle, then the two crystals will combine into one.

Chapter Five
Bring the combined crystal and the Horn of Chimaera to the Chimaera Royal Roost in Grove of the Ancients and receive the task from the king of Chimaera, who asks you to find part of his body. As a supporting role Jone Ridgewell goes into a submap of her memories in Alterac Ruins, she will reach a zombie village in the way. If she manages to kill a crypt lord at the top-left corner before dawn, a bloody key will be dropped. The key is used to open a gate at the bottom-right corner and the creeps there drop the Claws of Chimaera, which should be taken back to reality so that Kastie can find it in Jone's luggage in the main map. Finally take the Horn of Chimaera, the Claws of Chimaera, and the combined crystal to the Chimaera Royal Roost and the whole hidden quest is completed and you receive the Avatar of Chimaera as a reward, which I suggest you just leave it there and never take it up.

As for the artifacts, I would say a couple of them will suffice. You don't have to get everyone of them - It's not easy. However, if you find it interesting and want to take a challenge, the formulations below may help.

For the zombie village, just take the path with less crowds of zombies and less zombie are less likely to attack you. I dont have that patience, i just killed all the zombie on the way

Did anyone get a bug, for me after leaving the summit of time submap and it loads chapter 5, my hero never appears. I've also notice that at the end of the submap when kastie was suppose to enter the portal, she never disappeared into the portal.....

Level 3 Wind Talisman seems to have the description reversed: it summons wind spirits all the time, and only occasionally casts cyclone.
Sea Stone item doesn't show the cooldown.

4th map:
Goblin subplot: the goblin's names are randomized. The timer reads 2 minutes, but the quest line says 4.
You can't go back through the cave once you reach the part where ghouls don't stop coming towards you. That sucked, I wanted to beat the granite boss.
Power boots cooldown doesn't show up.

5th map:
Please make the boat a fast travel after the first time you take it. I mean, yes, the army preparing to defend scene was cool, but after that you're left with a very long boat trip.
Sandglass: Not sure what that is, did you mean an hourglass by any chance?
While on the ghosts plot, Collubry died but there was no mission failure, though the last ghost died around the same time. And a good thing too, she had the staff.

Jone's map: Yep, got the crash too, just after the cutscene with Brann. I think I killed a few zombies before it happened though.
Also, Jone's Seal of Ice's dummy shows up as an idle peasant.

Playing the campaing in the last two weeks.

Mission 4 "death knight must die" path is too dificult in a not good way.

To pass the orc section.

Heart of the land, the one that summon 6 water elemental.
Tauren hero water totem.
Stone of weigh. To summon two stone golems.

Every minor item to stack in the Shaman and the Assasin.

Without that even with Mountain Giants and Bears is imposible to walk in less than 30 minutes.

The first three maps are funny, in the second run i'm going to do everything but for now i'm now trying to rescue Shandris base.

in chapter1, it's a thing to mix with healing potion and mana potion and i didn't try. But in chapter 2, i can not mix them. Or can you tell me how to mix?
Thank you :D

Jone's map: it seems the crash is caused by overuse of the Seal of Ice spell, I got a lot further without using it, and the game crashed once I used it after the riflemen zombies. The area-slowing one doesn't seem to cause crashes(yet).
The cutscenes are unskippable.
Riflemen have mana but no spells.
Baron Morte gets attacked by zombies.
There's no timer when Brann starts working on the explosives.
After finishing Jone's map (killed the abomination, death knight and lich bosses, but went through the north door), it says the subquest failed and her items aren't in the box.

Translation error: in the main map, the human storytelling cutscene mentions a Lick King. Now there's an image I'll have difficulty removing from my head.
Had to look up what a Lamster is, might I suggest Fugitive or Deserter instead.
Call Armage's thunderclap Time Slow or similar, "retard" has very different meaning in modern English.

The Brann sidequest doesn't show up as completed in the quest log (went with "disbelieve"), just the message saying it has.

The main quest doesn't get updated.

The Fluorescence sidequest doesn't repeat (I went up to him but he didn't react).

You should make the shopkeepers in the square and the grove stand out from the rest of the population.

Paris' map: Paris can die without it failing the mission.
It's possible to save the chased footman from the ghouls, but he just sits at the edge of the map if saved.
The countdown stays even when you kill the final wave.
During the final part, Paris can't upgrade his paladin spells, only the ones he had for most of the ission, and loses the skill points if he was above level 10.

Kastie's map: Have a counter for Shandris' health (and make her a different color), it's hard to see where she is.
If Armage is gone by the time you find a tentacle, he still tells her about them.
Tentacles don't stack. EDIT: Wait, now they do. Weird.
Quest says hold for 10 minutes, timer says 5.
Bossfight: Not sure why the messages tell you to not be infront when it hits all around. Also, the spell's range is greater that the wizard's attack range.
"Spike of the dead"?
Councilor: Maybe remove the locust swarm spell, in a tiny space it's unavoidable.

Thanks for your suggestion, cleavinghammer. It's quite detailed.
I'll fix my part (translation) but I have to wait for Godot to reply. This guy seems disappeared for weeks somehow.

Is the booty at the end of chapter 4 worth it? It's because 2 bosses without demon hunter's help is too hard. Also where to find shroud?

Sorry for the late post (and compliment). I was just too busy playing the campaign. Seriously your camp got me addicted:eek:. There have been some campaign with this style, but clearly your is nothing like everything made before, and probably the best campaign I've ever had (hope it will be the 2rd after the Road of Destiny 2)

Cuz I'm not good at reviewing, so I'll start by simply saying: I was completely amazed by everything you put in it. All the elements of an epic RPG are all in

Terrain: The scenery was invested with a huge huge efforts, it's truly unimaginable...::cool: the trees, brushes, river, waterfall, cave, valley, building... The city by your creation was just so.... Elvish :mwahaha:, only by watching, it's like I can hear the sound of a treant walking, or feel the tranquility during the night at Ashenvale. And honestly, I even dream of living in a place like that (surely not just Paris is not the only one who has this thought haha ). The only thing that can compete with it, is the music, which if u force me to choose 1 of them, I wouldn't be able to.:hohum:

Music: Fantastic or extraordinary? Sorry for my poor words but let's say it's both combined, can't find a suitable to express my feeling. I was extremely impressed by the Bard Song in the first chapter:razz:, along with the so so beautiful views you provideds (though alreay seen from the upper angle) was the most memorable moment for me throuh the whole game:aht:. Far more valuable than any trophy, items a player can expect for, the "TRUE" reward among all :aht::aht:(which probably makes me play it again to listen to that only). Also I love all the other songs, like the Brilliance of Ashenvale - those are not so noisy but not so quiet either, just "at the right tone where it should be". Your music is just the Elf's music

Story: Kinda classical (a heroine with a war to fight for, a hero with a sad story seeking for vengeance, also another royal beauty was meant for him) :plol: but still very appealing. I'm getting a bit sentimental lol, but don't blame me, I'm also a fan of the Zhuxian Chinese novel...:at: with conspiracy or intention of their own. Also the other characters are fun too, the half-elf, the daughter of nature, the treant Oslo... I still can't believe the dwarf keeps messing from the first chapter was in fact a fake haha:grin:. You did well on keeping the player curious. However, the last chatting with the Aspect really mess the hell out of my mind.... matter & illusion, but that's details

Hero models: They are all suitable, no matter what happen I still want to see a Paladin with a hammer rather than a sword. Also with our Kastie, I really want to have her the same way as she is now. However, I think u can modify Shandris a bit based on her Warden type with a bit more complexity  - may looks better for a general. And the last 10 point is for Adorena - Night elf sniper, her outfit is soooo HOT :ad::ad:that blows the hell out of my mind :goblin_boom: :goblin_good_job:

Hero skills: Excellent :ap: I'm not saying it's better than other, but I like them most for being all new spells, it shows your effort in making the whole campaign, and that what makes it good  They are also pretty balanced, with highly detailed description, another good thing that not many other campaign can do it. It's even better when each of the skill/item has its back stories, like Collubry's Healing or Kastie's Bow. Great job

Gameplay: Not so easy, neither too difficult. The optional & hiddens quest are a big bonus in this campaign, it really made me play a chapter for 3-4 times, and save/load over 20 times in order to discover all the secrets in it :eekani:. Though I must admit I get pissed off sometimes for there are too many secrets, or lacking clues & don't know what to do. I'll talk about it at the suggestion :fp:

About the suggestions to improve your campaign:

_Environment: not much to change, but if you agree, add some clues, or hints where there's a secret. For now it's like groping in the dark, we have to search for every inches but may still miss it.
_Hero models: Not much either, just keep it the same way, based on original WC's with a liitle more details and that's good. And hey, I really want to see Jone without her helmet in the next campaign (even in a moment), please please
_Gameplay: As I mentioned, the "Secrets" may be a bit of annoying sometimes, it makes me restart the game or reload so many times cuz once passed, it cannot go back, like the "Chimera artifact" in chapter 1, or in chap 3, where there's shop selling Bow's upgrade being attacked by 2 raiders - I was full & couldn't buy it, or walk straight into the main quest while still wandering around for the optional quest... :vw_sleep:Just give us a sign :fp:otherwhile I'll have to go on the forum & read everything before starting a new chapter :hohum::hohum:
_Also, I think with a campaign like this, we deserve to know the creators of this masterpiece - I'm talking about the CREDIT, just a line with Destiny studio wouldn't satisfy me. U guys are just being too humble.

And last, my most sincere thanks to Destiny studio, as to all the creators & supporters for all the hard work you have put in this map. Your game really makes me feel something I've never before. I look forward to your next episode, but don't make a rush cuz we don't want to ruin the series haha

Hi, ok first of all, THIS GAME IS AWESOME!! the little details, the story, the mysties, everything is great. I love it from start to fini... well thats the problem (my problem at least), in the chapter 5, submap "The summit of time: Promise of the bronce Dragon" there is a boss i just can´t pass, the Linch "Venim Iceblade", i´ve been stuck with this guy for the last 2 hours anf still nothing, ohh and now that i`m supposse to kill the soul but the ads he spawn are just TOO much, well can you give me any advice or a guide to kill him? I`m just stuck beyond redemption and on the brink to a massive Rage quit...
Well that`s it, love the game so far and i would LOVE to finish it.

EDIT: Nevermind i figure it out

I redid chapter 2 multiple times argh. Once because I didn't save the naga in time. The 2nd time since I gave the right answer to the panda. I just went ahead and finsihed the chapter. Should have just reloaded.

Btw I am on chapter 3 and can't find the third secret region in your hints. Its driving me nuts. I used iseedeadpeople and I want to fight the panda and all the other guys in that region. I am pretty sure I found the tree with all those bushes but I don't see any entrance or cave, etc. I made my guys walk all over that place but couldn't find it. Destroyed everything else on the map and don't want to finish it till I get that final secret....

These secrets are too hard to find and too easily missable. Makes this game very not fun for me because I like finding every secret. Not going to play until someone can tell me how to get to the 3rd secret region on level 3. Not going to waste anymore time looking for it I have tried everywhere and its just killing time and not fun.

Right when u just pass by the shop (The ancient of wonder) being attacked by 2 raiders, u see a bridge, after passing it, there's a giant tree, just go through it to the right (u can pass through it) there will be the brushes (they are all in RED). Look carefully, there's a cave that will lead u there

Thanks a lot. Got only mediocre rewards sadly from those bosses. Lots of dupe items that won't really be used more than once too. Oh well.

Finally beat the shadow councillor. His locust swarm ability needs to be removed, they tend to gang up on Kastie and kill her in seconds.

Why lose the summon on Cindra? It's the only useful spell for this and the following parts, you should switch out Blizzard instead.

... The part after is absolutely ridiculous. Why do the particles have so much life, why do they have phase shift, and most important of all, why the hell is Kastie taking constant damage?

Hey Does anyone know (for the first map) where the Pool of Vision is so I can progress with the hidden quest "vision of the future?"

Take your boat and go to the "northwest" of the map. There's a slope that will slow you down when you climb it. The Pool of Vision is on the top.

This campaign starts out as a relaxing game and then becomes almost hell with reprises.

Some suggestions:
-make all units from a group retaliate not only the nearest or the one being attacked. This way it will not be possible for the player to drag the unit a quarter of the map to use the hit and run tactic. Some units require the enemy to get very close to them in order for them to attack even though they are ranged units
-specify cooldown of abilities in their description
-the ability hotkeys are killer, not that logically placed

interlude 1:
-Edorena's portrait is... just wrong
-the tester credits message can be shown after the conversation...
-the intro is so long it makes it feel like it's a movie not a game

chap 1:
-not just that nobody helps when you're fighting something in the villages but you can kill anyone without questions asked
-Druid of the Talon (story of Teldrassil): unselect during cinematic required
-fixing a boat is faster than waiting for others to return from fishing? Anyways I couldn't use the boat until I spoke to the Archer near the Glaive Thrower. The ship's owner was just standing there near it doing nothing before I went to the Archer
-Honey Dew Flower and Astral Feather's icons look differently when F10 is pressed
-the Wardglaive Captain has a Runner but sends you to talk to the Dryad? In the Corrupted Treant cutscene there's a line where the Wardglaive Captain's portrait is that of the Runner's
-after climbing up the hill the hero is still slowed down (near the big tree) where the terrain is pretty flat
-meeting the red Pandaren nothing happens
-some buildings like the Chimaera Monument can be destroyed
-optional quests shouldn't be available only after a main quest has ended or been updated. The bagpipe bard's transmission portrait is that of a Runner, not of its original model
-a lot of the optional quest transmissions end quicker than they can be read and I have to check the message log to read them
-Dwarven Storyteller's transmissions are either too quick to read or last too long. You should also remove the selection circle of him during cinematic and also make Kastie not be under the effects of Shadow Meld during speeches
-how do you stack items? (Orchid Herb); the bottle disappears if cast on this herb. Ok so only the Locker can stack up items... Interestingly after putting all my items in the Locker except for the bow that can't be dropped items started stacking on pickup in the inventory. Stacking up needs a twitch
-maybe block the path to the stream between two caves south where the Satyrs are. It looks silly how the hero is not taken by the furious water flow
-some optional quests do not give any rewards like the one when the sight of Satyrs is reported
-paths are blocked by some units without mentioning why (Huntresses for example in the way to a bridge)
-should remove inventory from Angelor because if one item or both for the required quest (Scythe Mint etc.) are placed there, the quest can't be finished anymore
-upon loading the game spells may change order like the Fishnet from the boat taking the first place instead of last and the Phoenix Arrows from Kastie, the same
-hints like attack the tree are lame (it's pretty darn straightforward as a first option anyway)
-after the Satyr's message of "this is our land now!" the allied colour settings changed...
-the Satyr town attack is silly, they are attacking in waves instead of a full scale assault; the south attack does not start, the enemy blocks themselves and gathers in big numbers and attacks only if they are encountered
-the explosives should be blown not long after they are placed. Waiting for both caverns to be filled would make time for a cavern to be freed of explosives by the Satyrs
-the bad thing is that the level ends without some optional quests being finished. That means that the player should be able to choose whether the level should end or not

chap 2:
-the Tree of Life does not automatically entangle the Gold Mine if the skip cinematic is used
-why did the spells change? Where are the Hawks?
-killing someone and ending their suffering is better than letting them suffer? (Naga Royal Guard)
-finding the plant for the Naga quest should turn to failed (quest log) after Katherine arrives and a quest failed message should also appear
-why is the black mask always enabling after discovering portions of the map?
-they wanted to retreat because of few troops but then they split up?

chap 3:
-Kastie hasn't even gotten off her boat and the Dryad hailed to her
-when staying in the bushes near the orc general, down the hill there are Dryads and Druids of the Claw near orc troops and neither of them do anything
-so after the orc base is razed everyone just stands there for?
-well I dunno what Edorena was talking about but I used the Panther to kill the general not the Astral Feather
-ok so what I understand is that in your story Thrall did not establish Orgrimmar and the Warsong somehow existed separately still without Grommash
-sometimes cameras do not reset after cinematic scenes (like the one with the necromancer and Samuro). After Samuro dies and right before the cinematic starts the message of him dying is shown as if it's an ally or the player's hero
-after destroying all the enemy Demolishers, mine just exploded and in the forth cinematic all heroes' selection circles were visible
-how the heck did Kastie hear the Acolyte's conversation and the orcs there did not hear the blasts of the catapults on the other side of the river?
-the orc heroes are more powerful than the Death Knight (at least healthwise)

chap 4:
-Paris wants to follow the Death Knights but does not know how to tread through the land to do so?
-the Crypt Fiends remain underground if the heroes quickly get past the statue to the north
-the Death Knight (Slaughterhouse place) cinematic cannot be skipped
-not sure how would the Panther be able to pounce air units
-the Naga Royal Guard orders the Myrmidons to catch the enemy and they stand still unless encountered
-there's not much room for items in heroes' inventory. Having to return 5 minutes just to put something in the Locker is pointless
-you have no idea how I had to beat the earth golem using only the owls, panthers and the treant's other treants. Enemies run from owls
-standing near the edge of the elevator and summoning panthers can lead to an exploit in which the panthers can step on the switch. By the way how else can the heroes get down?
-I couldn't open the Elven Gate
-Crypt Lord cinematic scene: player's units show the selection circles and the camera does not reset properly after the cinematic ends
-the remaining undead still march north instead of attacking the player after the Slaughterhouses are destroyed. This is the most boring part of the map
-this map is very long and starts to bore to its end mostly because of doing the same thing... destroying Slaughterhouses. The last boss battle saved it somehow

Astranaar chap:
-now the panther ability is gone... I really don't get your ability removals and addons for each mission
-old Brann Bronzebeard said he's leaving but does not do so after reading the letter
-the boat may be at its destination and Kastie may appear at the entry point and suddenly teleport to the destination
-some places can be accessed only by boat but the bridges to them are blocked by an invisible force? Oh yeah and the boat can go right through the bridges...
-there are also a lot of bugs with quests either showing up as finished or just started after transitions from other levels
-you really need to work on skip cinematic scenes (eg: when she meets her 3 friends)

Jone's chapter:
-the same message with the Siege Tank 3 times in a row. Who was piloting it anyway? The tank only moves if the player's units are not near it before the conversation about the dwarven explosives ends
-I've got a crash after using healing wave of Crusader Paladin after the Zombies attacked the city right after the cinematic ended. This cinematic can't be skipped. The error happens anyway after some time (killing Zombies or I don't know why). Nope I think it's when the dwarves attack without the hold fire being pressed
-the gate is locked but they can't blow the explosives a lil to the north to get in through there?
-should update quest log instead of having to look in the message log
-the explosives died after the adventurers returned from the castle but couldn't be blown off before...
-since when do the dead sleep? It's not like they're robots programmed to only wake up on stimuli
-there are Zombies that are already awake and block the way. Thus fighting is needed and there are so many of them... it's almost luck to get the right timing to pass them
-Bran's abilities change places upon loading the game
-after being defeated by the big Abomination, the Death Knight and Lich numerous times and then finally won somehow (one companion lost) I had to clean up the Ghouls that were summoned during the time the Abomination was alive (lame). I even tried the north path but that was just impossible for me (either the dwarf or Jone died defending the explosives charge; I suggest that the companions have hero inventories so they can use scrolls and Healing Wards). I've almost wanted to not play the campaign anymore since I did not have any saves from the previous Astranaar level (I had no idea that her memories were going to be a level). In Paris' level I found out about the level ending on fail and the loading of the previous map...
-this level is too long to be a memory of just one mission, might as well made it a cinematic it would've been shorter then

Paris' memories:
-units don't have small inventories like in Jone's level
-doesn't really feel right that these abilities are not used by him anymore later in his life
-what's the point saving the Crusader if he doesn't become yours?
-the running Crusaders that came from the farm returned (at least some of them) to attack by themselves and then just stopped somewhere on the road...
-there is a barrel somewhere (north) where some Ghouls are between fences that can't be reached/destroyed
-how did they know that the dead people on the road were eaten by their own men and not by the undead?
-the player has Scarlet Crusade units by his side too and they don't tell you anything until you meet others to tell you something later
-change the 'D' hotkey from either Shadow Strike or Defend because one replaces the other ability's actions
-Paris' Defend needs a proper description (it has 3 levels)
-the lion of Stormwind can be seen on the traitor hero's (Garithos) shield
-after the traitor's death cinematic, Paris' abilities changed but their levels were lower than the others and then he could level up to choose the old ones from the start again....
-in the town there's a player owned Crusader that's blocked in the hills and can only reach enemies at the border of the blocked path
-not sure if intended or not but there's an invulnerable Guard Tower in the west of town and another a bit to the southeast

Time chapter:
-wait what? Kastie is in the future trying to fix the future? Isn't it the past that needs fixing? Why go right in the most dangerous time instead of when the bomb was easier to stop?
-Kastie has no problems walking through fire?
-the player gets a message with the councilor being weakened and that he can no longer cast spells but he still can
-again changing spells for the lulz... the Water Elementals were just fine you know
-why was Cindra allowed to see what the dragons of time were doing?
-should make it that even if Armage collects the 666 pieces the quest should end
-big bug: a panther got first to Collubry and after the conversation the barrier appeared and my heroes were on the north side of it. Couldn't get to her. The conversation can't be skipped...
-another one: sometimes killing the two Avengers will leave the invulnerable (avenger) buff on Collubry
-the avatars may teleport out of the fighting zone (river, unreachable paths) and thus Colluby's invulnerability never ends. Not to mention Collubry can teleport behind the magic wall and not come back...
-in the end cinematic Kastie goes towards the portal and it disappears but she remains there
-when she returns to the previous level she is selected in the cinematic

-what are the pandarens' role? Are they there just for eye candy?

Well I would've given you 5/5 (generosity) if it weren't for the creepy bugs.
The important thing is that this campaign can be finished without cheats (that are not even allowed; I did not try to see that anyway),
It's a good experience for RPG lovers.
With these said maybe the next parts of the series will be taken to an advanced even "professional" level.

I dont know how to open the elven gate after killing the Ancestor of Rocks either.
To get down the elevator, deepstrasz, you can move to the border of the elevator and summon jump any creature and move it on the "off" switch.

this is a very good campaign
i found a 2 bugs in the same map ( the map with 2 death knights as a boss and like 7 slaughter house ) the first one i found when i was attacking the base with three slaughter house in it i had a big mass of ghouls in a matter of seconds which werent enough for me to go into the base and destroy it . the second one i had the wizard staff thing that gives me 100 mana and hp when using it ... when i use the star arows skill and get a kill after in like 5 seconds all my skills reset and the wizard item is reset too .. i used that like 9999 time when trying to clear the mess around
all i did the whole fight was teleporting the assassin with the skill and use her ult then kill the mass around her to teleport in again untill i reached the base and destroyed the buildings before destroying the army out there
anyway 5/5 XD enjoyed it

I highly suggest that you make the hero able to summon their lockers, it is a pain to go back here and there especially at the 3rd chapter, it took me a long time to go back,
I also hope the hotkeys will be changed to QWERT rather than the hotkeys now, it's much easier
And specify the cooldown of abilities for items such as the Astral Feather
Also the cinematic during chapter two where you meet the Old Treant, just after the panthers destroyed the last generator, i moved them to the treant, then halfway the conversation showed up, kastie's dialogue was cut, and replaced with "Be careful not to kill any treants or our effort will be useless ( or something like that ) " :vw_unimpressed:

It should be a one hit kil, whether is it the Arrow of Elune or Feather of Phoenix
