The new Bansystem.

The You Have Eyes-ban thing sucks, believe me, it is.

Old one has:
- Timer for how long you got banned.
- A 2 seconds prewarning.
- That's it.
New one has:
- That spammy You Have Eyes thing.
- No timer at all.
- No prewarning.
- But it has the ''posts what happend before you got banned''-thing.

What I mean, is I want get rid of that new one. It sucks.

It does suck. One good thing about it is that your screen isn't "cleared" like the old one, so you can still see what happened before you were banned.

But it doesn't tell you how long you were banned for or who banned you.

And the "you have eyes" thing is not only spammy but also confusing to newer members who are unfamiliar with the chatroom.

Oh please, Firelord. Being banned is punishment enough.
In my opinion, here's what should happen:
- We go back to the old ban system (with the timer and the "You are banned" message)
- The old system is improved so it doesn't clear the chat before it, so one can at least see what happened.

Especially with bans being abused... A LOT... (or even if just to have a "kick war") the screen clearing is really annoying.

Whilst we're on the area of a bad ban system, can we also tweak the rules a bit?

Not to be nit-picking, but I was in the chat room and said 'biatch', that was followed by a mod asking 'if I really want to be banned for that'. Yet, other 'more experianced' hive members get off with saying 'bitch' and words like that in the hive forums, yeah. Sounds totally like a fully-functional, none-abuse related system to me!

Some mods are more tolerant than others. You shouldn't say "furries suck" around Werewulf, for example, or that Ubuntu is worse than Vista around wyrmlord.
