What's your opinion of how LOL (and other stuff) is used. I try my hardest to type LOL when I am actually laughing. Do you think LOL should be popular and treated how society (different societies?) treats it?

I can agree with it's sporadic use but not it's inappropriate and downright annoying spamming in today's speech, texting etc. It's a real pain my backside especially with things like: I ate frosties for breakfast lol.

To be frank to this real message I have seen, I just don't care.
