Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.

Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!
Mystic Storm and Frost Shard recoded.
From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!
Small changes to abilities, but not much. I plan to once again balance them in the coming minor versions. For example, I was thinking to completely remove Bleed, Brittle and Stagger. What do you think?

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.
Added proper descriptions to the difficulties.




Removed some test items from chapter 1 beginning.




Chapter 6 is now opened.
Now Item Sets have own unique icons.
Honor Shop Disabled. "Ability Bonus" system will be added later to the campaign that replaces Honor Shop Items.
Remade Esper System.
Remade Summon System.
Remade some of the spell book spells.
Chapter item descriptions to easier to read.
Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.
Also changed Professions bonuses.
Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Fradz model is now changed. Thanks to Kitabatake who made it from the beginning to the end.
Galeoth model is now changed. Thanks Fan for starting the model and making most of it and Kitabatake for finishing it.

A new system! Boss status system. All thanks for Maker who created this system.
Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.
Chapter 1 Boss and Chapter 1 Elite Boss are now slightly stronger and they have some new special abilities.

Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.

Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

Does attacking it trigger defensive phases, or do the colors indicate a certain phase where it doesn't take damage?

Because I decided to just run around the arena and gain like 15 levels from the creatures since I hadn't leveled a lot in chapters 7 and 8, and then when I was testing some spells phodom did between 2500 and 10k damage with his spells to the obelisk, but then when I decided to stop leveling and just focus all my attacks on the obelisk his spells only did 0 to 250 damage.

I have fradz equipped with a death spike so he can instantly kill all the creatures and the portals, but i'm still not doing any damage to the obelisk really since they heal it like 1000 at a time and I am somehow only dealing tiny damage

It works, here's how to do it:
1. Go to the castle and proceed with main plot. Quit before main boss fight.
2. Go a little west from the castle. You should see a cinematic and get your morale reduced.
3. Go to the fountain near the market place. A cinematic again.
4. Go to the area, where you fought the esper, almost at the middle of the map.

Hi guys,
I played this campaign a few years back and i've found it stunningly awesome, in such an old engine like wc3.
i watched the author of this campaign, he said he needed help, he didnt have money for the website and some other stuffs. Now that i just have time and remember about this campaign, i find the official website no longer exist. So i think the author shut it down.
But now I think he must have heard about Dota 2, and with the new update Reborn, people can actually create custom maps in this new engine. I wonder if the author have heard about this and give it a try, i think his maps will be fking awesome and i'd love to play it as i believe many and many more will.
I don't know if the author or anyone has suggested this idea for him yet. This new engine in dota 2 can really get him money, which the campaign in wc3 couldn't, so he can continue to finish his work.
I'm just writing just so that anyone read it can tell the author sth about it. i just want to help, and i'd love to play the new campaign.

I stacked nine magic balls into a slot however I can not synthesis greater magic balls
I restarted chapter and stack five magic balls and managed to make a greater magic ball
The question is, now what? What do I do with these magical nine balls? Is there any way to separate them? Thanks

Finally managed to complete it
I remember downloading this when it was on its first stages, it sure came a long way
Amazing campaign had a lot of fun playing
Defeating the elite and epic bosses were VERY hard but fun and rewarding
Zylcious boss fight is on whole different dimension, i've spent the entire day trying to defeat him, its been sometime since a boss gave me such a hard time
I like these bosses that crack you up because when you defeat them the moment of awesomness is epic !! :D
The ending however left me with many questions so ok here goes
If i remember about any question i'll edit the post





























What end did Tharo have ? He is still alive ? Galeoth knows hes a dragon and both are fifth rankers but we never saw any of that

In chapter 9 we (Optionally) save a dragon from a crystal, and he mentions that Zirentha
(I dont remember the name right now, sorry, its that female blue dragon) is his soulmate however she calls Yurdenox (Or how we humans know better, Tallon) so that made me a little confused

When i was watching the ending it said on red letters ''BAD ENDING''; what does that mean ? How do i get the ''GOOD ENDING'' ? Is it related to the diffuculty setting ? Because i checked on the prologue and the difficulty tooltips (Just before you choose the difficulty) doesnt mention anything about it; How do i get the good ending ? Its related to game points or difficulty ? If none then which pre-requisit to trigger it ?

Last question for now but perhaps the most important
I saw the secret ending and Zylcious transformed Phodom on a Death Knight !!!
Please Aero tell me how i can find Super Uunmut so i can prevent him from doing that
I didnt spent one day to defeat him just to become his slave in the end !!!

Now that everything is over i cant shake the feeling that Xvareon was a weak villain ... he was never a threat to Oellivert ... Tallon could had defeated him alone, Yurgimar as well, and Zylcious was a threat to him
Tallon on the other hand is much more than he appears to be
He was manipulating the events im sure of that, im sure he and Yurgimar have twisted plans in minds, and we were his pawns
Zylcious wasnt really telling lies at all
I believe Tallon is a bad guy

He's alive and the ending of him was left open. He's seen at the book too and
you will meet him eventually. He's very important part of the whole story but in this story he has a minor part.

Morale stats. Actually I think the good ending and bad endings are mixed up... Not sure, hmm.

That happens eventually: Phodom will be a villain in the coming stories.

Anyone has idea on how to solve the cave puzzle? The help section on TCO website doesn't seem to load for me
Edit: after making my way to the book in the library at chapter 10, I am unable to go out from the area, the bridge collapsed and now I am stuck, anyone has ideas on this?

He spawns at different locations. There's an excellent you tube walkthrough which will show you the details, just google for it.

You can teleport to the elevator puzzle area (that you solve to get to the other side of the library). Then leave using a portal at library entrance.

Btw, are you sure that you used teleport stone, and not library gem (or whatever it's called)?

Thanks it works now, do you have any idea how to find Black Merchants in the chapters? Especially 9 and 10.

I m currently in ch 9 and i cant steal the last item for frazt from that green mini boss it has 400 steal and i have 375 is there a way to get the item because no matter how many times i tried to steal it i cannot... I would be a great help. thanks

u can use some items just like super holgro to increase fradz's agility which can also increase his steal chance

anyone knows where to find Diamaranh? i played ch 9 like 4 times but i cant find her i found the other two death knights but not her... also what do you do after you kill the keepers? they drop one yellow and one purple ball... thanks

when u r playing Galeoth zhere is a dark golem
kill it go forward and then return Diamaranh will appear there

and u can try to push those two balls together then u will find sth

thanks i ll retry it... although when i killed the dark golem with galeoth Nothing appeared... also is there any walkthrough for ch 10? i cant find most of the optional quests and the quest with libot i cant finish because after i kill the spider near him he disapears and the quest says that i have to escort him safely back...

go forward after u killed the dark golem and return that place before boss fight
then u can find Diamaranh

and there is sth wrong with libot's teleport system so u have to find him three times to escort him safely back all the spots are beyond the river

First of all, Thank You for this campaign! It's great and I love it.

I didn't finish it yet. I gave up at chapter 7 (played on Normal) and started from beginning (I'm at third chapter now). So here's my feedback:

I will obviously start with the Prologue. From my perspective (totally new player who don't know thing about this campaign) I was quite confused. The game just told me to chose 15 abilities and always choose one out of 4. I was overwhelmed with so much text and information about spells. It needed more them little patience to read everything and choose wisely "the best one". I think there should be something like test room in that prologue (similar to the one in The Day of the Dragon campaign). It's much more easy to choose from things that you see in action then from text-info about spell. Or just give each of 4 possibilities few words long tag that display what spells do for "I-am-to-stupid-and-lazy-to-read" kind of people. For example: Melee heavy damage/Situational damage/Area damage/Buff abilities+little damage.

Next, I feel that bosses at the end of chapter (main plot bosses) should be more challengeful. In my first try I didn't focus much on leveling, getting great sets and doing epic boss fights. First 6 chapters I was able to beat every boss (end chapter boss) with using lots of heals or with esper and then I went to the next chapter because I thought "If I can beat main plot boss I'm ready for anything!" I made it to chapter 7 with poor sets and not that many great items and with 400 gold. That ch6 boss was really hard for me since even if i used esper and get him on less then half health (then there was cinematic and esper disappeared) I did little damage and I was too fragile to be able to heal everyone fast. After couple of tries I gave up. If the previous bosses were stronger -> I had to do more quest/buy better items/kill other bosses -> It would be easier for me to beat him. I don't if it was just my fault or it is real problem but I would like to see some motivators for doing more thing before going to next chapter. If not stronger main plot bosses then something like "you must have at least lvl X and item Y to start boss fight" or "you gain 1% more gold/some good item for each completed optional quest".

And one more little thing. I dunno if it was just me stupid but at start I was confused with getting tree copies of Combat kings. First, I thought that I must carry them to have that effect. Then I thought I had to click it tree times to activate it.. :D Maybe little note that tells how it works could be helpful.

I hope this feedback will help you somehow. And once again: You did great job on this map!

I understand the prologue thing, I agree it's too much for new players and I believe it is totally useless in the end, I should have thrown the player straight to the action. However, I won't start to change big things anymore. So let it be - let it be!

I tried to make the main plot story is and not that challenging. The extra bosses should be the ones that gives you more difficulty. Isn't there a hint for Combat Kings?

Hello, Im back. Im exited to play this again. But i got disappointed Aero. I thought you finished it, but I saw a bug. I can see that feature you made using the box. When I clicked it, my soldier belt disappeared. I hope you fix this soon. Anyway, im starting the 3rd Chapter now.

Found another one, i cant find Epic Boss for Chapter 7.

Great Artwork, great design, and a true challenge.
Even in easy I had so much trouble...
However, the ending... well, I'm not fan of these kind of endings.

perhaps the only solution for noob players not understanding the power selection the absolutely glorious and Devine duty to complete every optional mission and the inner workings of the game... is for them to grow the F $&!&$@ UP!

this is simply the greatest warcraft game ever!

Aero if you do want to add something new to the game and your story, you could begin the game with the 3 main heroes way back in their 20s learning to be dragon warriors. gaining the great dragon slaying knowledges from the wise masters of ages and learning their own abilities through dark forbidden arts.

that would be cool, but it's not necessary. You rock and I bet that you could make the game even better if you Had time...

Me playing the campaign.

Chapter 1: I dont have any problems here except that the mad fishthern is stronger than the archmage (well thats what I think)
Chapter 2: how do I make Fradz's mana go higher? I mean he's a spell caster but his mana is pretty low.
Chapter 3: ok this is amazing, Galeoth Rocks The Icy Mountain!!! ...... I think I can use him as a tank. Also It would be better if you can add more mobs in this chapter. I finished the map having my Galeoth at only level 35. I've killed everything (im pretty sure of that)
Chapter 4: i think you need to remove the trinker of kindness at the shop (the one you helped).
Chapter 5: this is great! I can walk underwater!!! I cant find the last mini boss.
Chapter 6: not much problem here, Jurxy is pretty strong you know, took me 10mins to take him down. Also Xada dont transform to his 2nd form, I remember playing normal mode at version 1.9 I guess, 3years ago and he transforms.
Chapter 7: nice! Huge map, this is always my stoping point, where i use give up. But nah! Im gonna continue playing! But I cant find the epic boss, so on the next chapter.
Chapter 8: cant find the last dig site. It took me 4 HOURS to complete the Ice Crystal Cavern Challenge ( you got me in there).
Chapter 9: I was like "F#CK THIS DRAGON! WAIT FOR ME, IM GONNA USE GIVE UP!" Then finally, I figured out how to beat him.
Chapter 10: same as chapter 9, cant beat Zyl, he always disappear on my screen then when he comes back, he at full hp again, how can I beat this guy?

I used give up before finishing chapter 10, I think there are more chapters after this, I still dont know what happened to Alfred. Thats it.

Edit: oh and one more thing, im having a lot of fun playing your campaign. But, theres a boring part on every map/chapter. That is waiting for the black merchant. I mean, Ive done everything i could do around the map (I mean Ive finished murdering the boss, elite boss, epic boss). All I need to do is go to next chapter, but I really need the item that the merchant is selling. Waiting for him to show up is not fun.
So my suggestion is, just hide him somewhere around the map. Just like the one you did at chapter 4. That guy inside the cave.
Well anyway, thats just a suggestion though.

I stumbled across this campaign and found it interesting so I downloaded and did everything I was supposed to but, whenever I start the campaign it just goes black screen. Please help.
