Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Vitality system upgraded in various ways and I've some plans to upgrade it even further in the future. One big note is that now max vitality will only increases when an item is in a character's inventory.
Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.

Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.

Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.

Can I have some help with the digging area? I think I'm playing the 2.7 version... It's really bugged, whenever I do a Dig... It will keep doing it, until it ends. So I can only do 1 spot like every 1 minute. So can you tell me the area where the Hogro 2nd/3rd part is? :cool:

A big trouble.
In chapter 4,when you play in the hard mode,you will find the elite boss is so strong,he's life and mana resume in a few seconds,I spent an hour and did not beat him.

Really...? Okay well I'll reduce it's hit points. Should it have 0 hit point regeneration? At least you can't escape from that battle...

The problem I run in to is that when he roots he seems to regain health so quickly I can't stop him. Maybe it's just a very long boss fight?

Perhaps the way is continued to stun the boss .The sliver set can stun ,Phodom's spell can stun him too.But i have no sliver set.

Honestly I wouldn't make any boss require item sets. That seems a little bit silly to me.

Maybe he could be tweaked to avoid that?

I'd also remove the health regeneration from his root phase entirely. Instead I would make him mana shield to stop damage, and summon alot of those snake wards. That alone would still be pretty rough, but less unfair. IMO

Elite bosses and epic bosses are optional. They require from player more skills and better items.

You don't need to have Silver Set to defeat the boss. But it's perhaps the third powerful item in chapter 4.

If you guys are talking about the creature in the bot right... I beat him on HARD and still made it out, barely... lol... I accidently rushed to the bridge and since I coudnt go back to find anything usefull on the map. I got pissed >_<.

By the way, everyone. It would be excellent if you could join to competition in here(also official website of the campaign). I'm currently remaking chapter 6, but chapter 7 will be remade after that. There's a gladiator arena, where you can challenge opponents. I would like you to make your own fighter in there. Enter here, register(takes 1 minute maximum), and start to create your own fighter. It's simple: You just need to make a text, and you don't need Warcraft III World Editor skills at all. Thank you for participating.

while i have not tried that campaign yet, which is sure i will, and i dont know if its allready too late to suggest that, after 88 pages, but i remember many other RPG singleplayer maps, and there was one thing i just never really liked: the GAME OVER dialog... well, while the standard frozen throne orcish rpg campaign is too easy, with instant revive, any rpg map should have something like that, to not make the player need to save and load... with new computer its not that much of a problem, but i had huge save and reload times with my last one... i would absolutly not suggest a standard-runestone + instant-revive system, but maybe something else... resurrection and healing of all enemies in the area where the heroes died, and then revive the heroes somewhere else... like a reload without a reload... the resurrection and healing of enemies would even only be necessary at special encounters, like a boss or something... running away would still work, but dying would still be a bad idea, without reloading...

i hope my post was not all that much too late, and like 20-30 peoples allready had the same... :grin:
besides that, rpg campaigns are often by far better than the standard melee campaigns :thumbs_up:

Yeah, you are really too late. I cannot change it anymore and I let it be like this. So, just don't die. Get some potions and so you won't die that fast. Also, Resurrection Phials will resurrect you immediately if you die.

My experience

I found a major exploit with Galeoth's Ice Elemental. When you go into areas where you are restricted (boss fights etc) by a choice to continue or not, your hero is moved back outside the trigger zone so it cannot cross it. The Elemental, however, can start the choice sequence and does not get moved back outside the zone when you choose not to start the event. Thus, the elemental can continue on and explore/fight bosses while your hero is free to do as it pleases. The rediculously easy (its attack does no real dmg) spider boss in chapter 3 can be killed solely by this elemental b4 you even start the fight. I'm not sure of the full extent of the uses of this exploit as I've been taking my time searching for every secret/killing every boss/elite/epic and only just reached the death epic@chapter 3 (currently rerolling to have healing since it blinkstrikes to avoid being kited and there are no potions). There is a glitch that i saw during that battle after I used the esper of a box placed in the middle of the arena and the epic being constantly reset to its position even after it blinkstrikes, essentially trapping it there, not exactly sure how this one happened. Btw, kiting the esper elite with ice bolt is also way too ez for an elite fight, i didnt get touched once on my first try. Also in chapter 2 the (i think flash strike) attack enemies 5 or x times spell is damn near worthless. The regular damage per second with the items from exploring/optionals is the same or greater. Very much a waste of mana. PS- Other than the spelling and grammar typos (ie:storng river), which are beyond count thus far, I love the set-up besides that auto-attacking takes multiple clicks to get to. I agree the work to put in skippable cinematics can be a pain, but it's really needed in this campaign where testing different builds and saving/loading @ bosses or else restarting is just a pain in the ass for players with the current system of death=dead. I don't respect you're opinion of forcing every1 to watch cinematics because it is your favorite part. Other people deserve respect, this map is for everyone, not just you, and if you've seen it once, you probably won't want to watch it again. I always wished the FF cinematics were skippable. I love the difficulty of the Epic fights, have beaten them all so far on hard via healing/mana potion useage and dodging, without making it easier in any way (-give up, easy/normal, going through the campaign and restarting it to keep gold/honor points). Definately well scored/recommended by me, though some small balancing issues/bugs/typos steal its spotlight. I'll keep posting bugs as encountered, and if u wish, even give a detailed list of every typo/bug/gramattical error found. I am very thorough. :thumbs_up:

Also, ice elementals are summonable to the tops of ledges/over fences/other impassible terrain, allowing map exploration of parts not meant to be explored, potentially in spell attackrange of creeps.

I can not find another boss in chapter 2 (I can found only ant-skeleton), what other one locate ?. How can I go to North-West coner in the map (See from your standard map). Because I have undiscovered quest 1 and I can not unlock it :( .

Hmm. You have a point, I think this bugs, yeah now I'm sure. Does this happen in other chapters also?

So, chapter 3 boss is too easy, hmm? Actually, you can get some potions in chapter 3. There's a secret shop at the beginning after you have killed the spider boss.

Yes, I understand. I will make all cinematics skipable in chapter 1-5 in version 3.0a or in 3.1 before I start to remade chapter 7. Currently remaking chapter 6.

As we know, this is still in ALPHA STAGE. Not even beta stage yet. There are still so many things I need to remake. I suggest you to play only chapters that are remade. These are: 1-5 currently. All other chapters lacks heavily with grammar and in every other categories also.

And yes, I know my english is bad, but hey, at least I have 5 translators. :D

I would like to hear more opinions from you. You seem to be an excellent tester. Thank you so far(btw, you should learn to merge your posts, double and triple posting is not allowed). +rep

I was finished Khutzi , Nhutzi , Voldo,Archeon's Wish and Epic quest. And I have 1 undiscovered quest <<< and i discover all map already. How I do this quest? T_T

yeah, it's where you stand in the line with all those people when you shall speak to the king, and you shall explore the city in the meantime you wait to meet the king. And when the cinematic turns off then, the units aren't there. And they're not in the cinematic either.

I would not suggest to review the campaign before it's finished. Or if you do so, do it at least for chapters that are remade. Currently chapter 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are remade. Next version will have 6, and then I will probably remade interludes...

It would be better just to have feedback instead of reviewing things that still can be improved. I'm always open for suggestions, and that's why the campaign is becoming greater everyday. With hard work, and players' great suggestions and bug founds.

Just got to say a complanment on chapter one. I beat the archmage and spared him, and now i cant go in again to dig up the last thing i have left. This is irratating.

Except for that I have to say that it has improved in thousands of ways. I played only chapter one for at least 2 hours.

bosses in chapter one are so hard. lol, i still cant beat it. only got enough money for little pots after defeating the murloc boss. someone tell me how to kill it?

I had to use 35 small healing potions in order to beat the archmage lol. The Murloc boss i only used 2 rejuvenation potions. ( or whatever they're called)

Anyway, the secret is having a lot of money. Currently I am at chapter 2 and I got the elite and Epic bosses left. I have no idea how to kill monsters with 20000 hp!

Notification
- There are not yet added Ultimate Sets.
- I will add later Items' Stories.
- There can be huge balance errors in chapter 6. I have only tested it. Remember to save often and a new version will be released within a few days to balance it perfectly. Be patient.
- I have been lazy, I have not yet added rewards for everything in chapter 6.

Chapter 6
- All cinematics are remade. Instead of 5 cinematics, there are now 10.
- All optional quests are remade. Instead of 2, there are now 4.
- Three new Mini-Games.
- All enemies remade. Almost all enemies now have abilities for example.
- All mini-bosses are remade. Now they are a lot more harder than ever before.
- Now you can skip all cinematics in chapter 6.
- Terrain is remade. However, there are still some spots I have not done anything. Suggestions are always welcome.

Major Fixes
- Fixed box save bug, now it should work properly.
- Fixed a lot of memory leaks with items.
- Fixed a bug that Boss doesn't appear in chapter 5, when skipping.
- Fixed a bug that enemies doesn't appear in chapter 3 in Third Son cinematic, when skipping.
- Fixed a bug that Elite Boss doesn't appear in chapter when skipping.
- Fixed bug with Strong Resurrection Phial: Now it will ressurect you.

Other Fixes
- Removed Chapter 1's Epic Boss' Mana Burn.
- Fixed map and campaign bars.
- Now Chapter 4 Elite boss doesn't have hit points regeneration at all.
- Now player should not have another chance to see Elite BOss cinematic in chapter 5 anymore.
- Fixed a lot of grammar errors in chapters one to five.
- Fixed a lot of minor bugs in chapters one to five.
