Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.

Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!
Mystic Storm and Frost Shard recoded.
From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!
Small changes to abilities, but not much. I plan to once again balance them in the coming minor versions. For example, I was thinking to completely remove Bleed, Brittle and Stagger. What do you think?

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.

Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.

Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

First my English is not so good because it not my main language and I don't have time to read all the post.Anyway I found that at some chapter(i only try chapter one)you can use the cheat iseedeadpeople to look around the map.It like this:First I chose Phodom skill,then i type the cheat.The game will show text(you guys know what it is)in the mean time I chose Phodom final skill,and the game will start in 10 second.In that moment,game show the board say I lost because of cheating.I don't press anything, just wait until 10 second end,then watch the cinematic.When done,the game it frozen but all map area has been show.Oh and your map rocks i love it
I'm not quite sure what this bug actually... So when the countdown is on campaign start to bug, hmm? Or hmm... Of course your game will end if you cheat.

I don't said that a bug.It Just some thing I found out.Sometime it quite fun look all around the map:D.I only play chapter one but I don't like the new morning light thingy,it hurt my eye(kidding about the eye)but it look better at night(the light at night it amazing).BTW still love the map:p(I think my "bug" it unfixable,and it happen in lot's of map).It like I lose the main quest which I must fight the boss, press load game but my character still fighting and win=mission done, you won,bla bla bla.....

Does this happen only when you are selecting abilities for characters?

About that morning light, there might be a mistake, I actually have not tested it myself. So chapter 1 day light is not good, am I right? What color is it? I think it suppose to be orange or something. I'll soon start to test chapter 1, 2 and 4 when I have finished all spells that will be in next version. There will be about +6 new ability/skill.

Also, the next version will have elite and epic boss for chapter 4. Next version will be in 1-2 week, I'm not sure yet. It depends how lazy I'm.

Yeah I guess only when selecting abilities for characters that happen.BTW I see that my gold and honor point still have same amount as I play at 2.1 even I use give up command(I got 20000 gold and 17 honor point from the start:D)It this a bug?.And at chapter 2 I found a bug that you can control a unit call anti cheat mana to ran down to the babarian village and meet Acheron.So Fraz "teleport"to the other side.And yes it orange but too much red in it,but that what I see,,other may like it.Is the next version have this:

It is possible to have old resources when you use -give up command. So I think it's not a bug. Ok, I fixed that anti-cheat thing. I'll do perhaps something to skipping in beta. About spell book, I don't have patient anymore to learn new things. But I'll give you a plan what I'll do for beta, which I hope will be before Christmas:
  • Alpha 2.8; Chapter 2 optional quests remade, chapter 4 elite boss added, chapter 4 epic boss added, few more ability, and perhaps chapter 5 elite boss. [Takes 1-3 week]
  • Alpha 2.9; Chapter 6 remade. [Takes 1-2 week]
  • Alpha 3.0: Chapter 7 remade. [Takes 1-2 week]
  • Alpha 3.1; Chapter 8 remade. [Takes less than 1 week]
  • Alpha 3.2; Chapter 9 remade. [Takes less than 1 week]
  • Alpha 3.3; Chapter 10 remade. [Takes less than 1 week]
  • Alpha 3.3; Chapter 11 finish. [Takes 1-2 week]
  • Beta 1.0; Prologue remade, epilogue finished, tested whole campaign myself, fixed everything I can. [Takes 1-4 week]

However, the problem is, are my translators as quickly as I am? Because lately they have been so slow. Still waiting chapter 6 text...

Thanks.Sorry if I ask so many question:D.I'm a curious guy.But what you mean by " translators"?And for a tier I fire spell I think it too powerful(1hit take away Omster 60% hit point)so as the effect(Oh man too nice!!)One more thing,how I can get in the cave full of ogre in chapter 1 and the temple with dozen of stone rolling door and a giant bone spider in chapter 2(the body guard too strong and immortal).You know how I see that :p

With "translator", I mean, guys who make my english to "better english". I'm from Finland and I don't have the best english. That is why I need people to make my english better for the campaign.

Fire bolt should not do so much damage... there have to be somekind of mistake. It should go like this;
  • Fire Bolt's base damage is: 350.
  • 20 Int + 350 = 20 x 3 + 350 = 410 damage.
  • 50 Int + 350 + 5x Moderate Magic Ball = 50 x 3 + 350 + 5 x 30 = 650 damage.
  • 100 Int + 350 + 5x High Magic Ball = 100 x 3 + 350 + 5 x 90 = 1100 damage.

Chapter 1 ogre dungeon is not yet completed. There's a trick with those guards in chapter 2. You have to kill both of them within 5 sec, otherwise they resurrect.

EDIT: Ajajajaaja... I found the bug with fire bolt. Actually, there's two magic mistakenly mixed. When fire bolt is cast, there also comes "Phoenix Fire" magic That's one of the last spells in the campaign. Oh hell. :D

I'm playing chapter 3 and don't see any major bug.But you having a text bug.When I near the esper ,game show text that this a ELITE BOSS.But when I go and fight him I see it a EPIC BOSS?!So what is this boss?And he is very hard to defeat,when Galeoh has no potion(run away all the time):D
And more, each time I summon my ice guard and frozen him(it usually happen in mid battle) ,he launch a water+ ice nuke with super high dam(my guard die with one hit!!!)not to mention the "water prison" and stunning attack.It there some trick?(I have third son)
Last,why I can't see Acheron but still see the text at chapter 2 ending movie(BTW evil dude flying spear look dumb)?And can you give me a tip on what to do at the grave in chapter 2??

Chapter 3 actually has a secret potions shop. You just need to kill the basic boss first. And that ice monster is an elite boss.

Yea, that bug that you can't see Archeon is end of chapter 2 is fixed. It only happens if you have completed his quest earlier. I didn't know that black guy could fly? Grave in chapter 2? Just walk to those statues in right order.

Oh secret potion shop?Oh man why I don't I read your post earlier.I kind of using the "super man" cheat(beat him in 2 hit).And I don't know this bug happen to everyone but when I play chapter 3 and load game all hammer,northen wind and Ice guy super blast(may be more) effect gone.I can only see the hammer had been smash down(cannot timing!but the dam and the mana still apply)wind now just some kind of earthquake(no effect but still slow, damage and healing) and Ice guy: not see anything!!!!!!!!!
And I found that at chapter 4 my Phodom Avatar spell vanish?!?!?!?!?ANd I don't said black guy fly but his black thingy fly near his arm.

=I know this would happen:p.I mean the lightning effect,the effect model or what so ever.For example:normally when you cast north wind there is ice blast around and the snow under Galeoh shaking.But when I load game the ice blast are no more.Get it?
And I don't use hacking program to cheat.Just some trick I pull up.More, Falconeye you word hurt my felling:)X)
And I get the main thing of no cheating.You right,it ruin the game.

OK, that I save when I do nothing.Before I save, all magic work fine.But when I load the game and try do some magic(usually spell with import stuff or should I say player made animation) it bug.The animation of the hammer are smashing down don't happen,it just a "standing still" hammer.So as the North Wind animation don't apply,no ice animation!!And the esper blast:no animation
Get it??

Major Bug!!!!
When Reaching chapter 9 (Icy Mountains) Fradz, Phodom and Galeoths boxes are empty and Second box type is missing, i cannot complete the mission because my food and everything was in these boxes!

Could it be something i did in chapter 8 or is it just bug?
I Got 2.4 Alpha because i reached all way to chapter 9, wont update cuz items dissapear!

I only see at chapter 3.Other I don't see yet.I see only Galeoth have this bug may be because he is the hero who has lots of spell with special animation(Fraz spell still work don't know why).And I'm playing chapter 4 ,so don't know about further bug(BTW I find out who is Meopilo or whatever and take the sword,he pretty weak,but the blue stone you hide too good,I found it after 30 min).Let me guest:Infeno and the wisp quest not finish yet,right?And you should fix lightning storm(Fraz)why there is a yellow light around Fraz(like the storm in 2.1).

Oh my old machine!
If I'm the only one has that bug,so don't care about it anyway.
But why at chapter 5 I can control Fraz from the start?
Last word,fix the attack command man,it like a spell.When I "attack" somewhere there have a 5% chance to restore 100% mana(with great mana gem in your inventory)

1. Attack not working (you know that) Suggestion: Make unit attack with trigger.
2. In Chapter 4 Phodom had loosed his splash attack (the divine shield icon I forgot the name) and in Chapter 5 Phodom loosed all his Abilities like Firebold and Light Beam.
3. Phodom's Firebold (undertaked spell) is far more than powerfull. I defeated the Shadow golem and any boss with one simple click.
4. The mumies in Chapter 2 (Epic Boss guardians) are too many to defeat with lighting attack. I die in 20 seconds.
5. Esper in chapter 3 is undefeatable. I collect every item in the map and casted any spell and etc. but I cant defeat it because of the EXPLODE he makes (unable to dodge)
6. In Chapter 5 I was able to move Fradz before he meets Phodom and when I was in the ''Tavern'' It was raining :D

Aeroblyctos I like this campaign very much, but with bugs like that...
NOTE: This was the bugs only from Chapter 1 to Chapter 5....

In chapter 3, for me phodom has no attack button. What the heck? Therefore, he has no 'attributes' button to select dig, spells, attack etc.

Go to a corner, get some potions. I think it was pretty easy, I played with normal difficulty.

Yup, remember this is still alpha stage. I try my best to fix all bugs and improve the campaign, but some systems I have put to the campaign are OUT OF MY HANDS, which mean I can't fix them. They are too hard for me, simply. For example, spell book system is one of them. I can only pray that someday the creator will fix the problem you have already mentioned. I have been waiting for 2 months already.

I got a bug.When I play chapter 4 I can't sleep at the inn(can't go to the basement)
I don't know about everyone but I'm pretty poor about direction,so how about add a compass selectable action to know the way?
And two month???He run away:D

I'm sure. In chapter 1 he was fine. Chapter four, no Abilities / Spellbook / Attack. Just a black space where it should be. =[

I have a theory about all the mising spells/items and etc.
Example:
When finish chapter 1 and then we select chapter 4 from the chapter menu only items are saved. Do you agree?
Now I'm testing the campaign and I will find out what casue this.
NOTE: The Murloc boss in chapter 1 says in the Quest that if he is defeated I will get 300 gold. Today I kill it and I only reserve the Armor and 3 Honor pts. Another bug or Aeroblyctos just forgot to change the title in quests

What's is the real name of the band and the name of the song when you fight with bosses?? the file in the WE is named: "Boss Fight Music.mp3". is "Dream Evil" band??

Suggestion: Could you add some "horses" or "rhinos" for carrie on all items, there are so many!!, The 2 boxes is fine! but is tedious "go and back" all time around the map, drop items, and pick up new items, go to the box, and again, etc. ja!

other thing:
-I found a very little bug: in any chapters for some reason, sometimes the music is turned off, only FX sound is turned on.. ¿?

Campaign is updated from version 2.7b alpha to 2.8 alpha.

- Fixed combat king bug
- Fixed spell book load trigger for chapter 5 and 6
- New summon system
- New quest added to chapter 5
- New quest added to chapter 1
- Fixed chapter 8, now it runs properly
- New spell for Phodom: Summon Fire Element
- New spell for Fradz: Illosory Double
- Switched Galeoth's Frozen and Summon Ice Elemental's places
- Added elite boss to chapter 4
- Added epic boss to chapter 4
- Now you can skip cinematics in chapter 4
- Now you can skip all beginning cinematics of chapters: 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10
- Map information bar added to chapter 4
- Campaign information bar added to all chapters, also works with -give up(not tested)
- Added new teleport pad system for chapter 2, now it's a lot faster to travel from place to place in chapter 2
- Fixed mana burn effect
- Changed Axobada's model(I have not tested the model in the cinematic yet)
- And fixed a lot of minor bugs

Notes
- Because there are so much changes, the version might bug, inform me immediately if you see any bugs, I'll make a new fast update soon as possible
- Galeoth's "Glacial Ball" bugs, it creates incredible lag currently at least for my computer in chapter 6, 7, 8 and 10
- I have not edited chapter 6-10 for ages. This means they are exactly the same as before. Next, when I'll have chapter 6 dialog texts from my translator, I start to remade chapter 6
- Chapter 11 will be, when chapter 6-10 are remade
- Beta will be, when I have finished chapter 11, epiloge and prologue
