Aeroblyctos presents The Chosen Ones Single-player RPG
Important: the game is made with Warcraft III 1.29.2 version and if you play with never version there might be some bugs. However, here for example you can find proper version to play the campaign.
Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.
This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.
Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...
Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...
Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!
Mystic Storm and Frost Shard recoded.
From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!
Small changes to abilities, but not much. I plan to once again balance them in the coming minor versions. For example, I was thinking to completely remove Bleed, Brittle and Stagger. What do you think?

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.

Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Illusory Double illusions now will take 500% damage compared to Fradz from 1000% damage.

Fixed Zwill Blade's synthesis, now it should be able to create.
Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.
Spell book spells are cooldown are now changed. Here are the cooldowns from first to fourth 90/180/300/once per chapter.
Dozens of smaller and bigger bug fixes.
Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.
Items Zwill Blade and Aerial Shoes are now made stronger

Fixed Combat Kings where they were always rested to level 1 after loading.
Fixed a difficulty settings in chapter 2 as they were too weak for the stronger difficulties. Now enemies are stronger as they should be(ATK: 0%/0%/10%/20%/30% & HP: 0%/0%/15%/45%/75%).

i think hes confusing the location of cinematics. some are at the end of a chapter while others are at the beginning of the next chapter. its also possable hes talking about an interlude.

By the way, remember to modify the recipes for the items that require Heal Book, Greater Heal Book and Greater Mystic Book.

I trust that the level 25 is max level in chapter 6, so here comes the bug: -As you can sometimes see, example in chapter 1 when you reach level 5 it's max and the experience meter becomes fully purple so it means it's on max level. -But now in chapter 6 I reached with Phodom to level 25 and the experience meter didn't changed colour to purple - it showed that you could still get lvl(s) from that chapter: SO FIX THIS! By the way I've idea for Aero! Look the second screenshot, could it be a optional quest place where you must play chess?

Buahahahahaaa.... this is not a bug! The experience system is little different because I had to put the boss to level 40. But it should work almost as good as in chapter 1!
About the "chess" place, there will be epic boss later!
an epic boss in a chess place? wait, your not going to make bosses that arent a standard "see that? now kill it. it may a few tricks up its sleave but ultimatly its like everything else." are you? i mean like bosses that are more a special sort of mini game or something where you go head to head against an ai. if you are that would be truly epic. if not then theres a sugestion for ya. doesnt have to be overly complicated stuff. but it would have to difficult or else it becomes a standard mini game rather than a boss. and to make it less mini gameish you could make it so the participating characters stats or identity make a difference.
edit: that reminds me. theres also sub maps that may be handy in this endeavor. basically its an added map that isnt part of the chapter and even has to load when you enter it and re load the chapter when you come back. ive seen them used properly and well with the bonus campaign that comes with frozen throne. the founding of durotar. and ive seen them used badly where trying to exit the submap ends the campaign.
Meh. Always it's that - when something new comes, like that spellbook system it likely is full of bugs. Meh.
By the way why is it so that the end boss in chapter 6 must be level 40? It's just one on one (meh truly it's 3v1 xD Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth vs. Zarfox).
And why is Xada leve 30? It took me lot of more time to beat Xada than Zarfox.
And where is the place where you must dig at the digging area where you can find second part of Holgro? Digging time is too low and I dig about only 3 times there until time over...

BY THE WAY 2! BUG REPORT! There is 2 choices: -Fake information. Or -Fake amount of people. Because look that screenshot over there - there says I've to wait that 18 more people has spoken with king. But only 1 has left from the line. Fix that, because I think that it's because fake amount of people, if there comes when I next time example go there it says: "You have 0 people before you." And then I try to go the people blocks so I CAN'T enter. Fix that!
hows this going to work the new spell system? that is for games that already have spells and books saved on there character somewhere. just gonna swap those spells strait out for there item equivilent? and what about the books then? and at this point wouldnt it be good to tell us what items are where, especially the ones your adding? its just hard to test things we dont know about. and i have to complain about frads losing abilities. especially his sword dance. is there a fix for this? like restarting the chapter? or is this a consistant issue. and im pretty sure frads starts with skills missing rather than them vanishing mid game.

The epic boss I will make there is called "Time Changer". It has some nice "time" spells. Yes, it's once again very hard boss that needs player to focus 100% to the battle. However, I have not started to make it. First I will finish chapter 2 epic boss, chapter 3 elite boss, chapter 5 epic & elite boss.

Well, the campaign is quite long it's hard to fix all bugs in one night. Also this is still alpha version which means the campaign is far from over. Perhaps you could share bugs you find to us?

This new spell system has nothing to do with hero spells. ALL items spells will be deleted including spell books.
I go to look those save/load spell triggers once again to see if something really bugs. Perhaps the loading is too long...
Okay guys, I'm going to create a alchemist system. With this system, you can create powerful potions that increases your heroes'. Every material will have a model and now I'm asking for you guys to give some more materials. Currently I have these materials for it:
materials you say. golem eyes. small sparkling gemstones which commonly serve as the eyes of many stone based elementals and golems. as such they would be drops from those and naturaly could be found as well. dont forget some metals, sulfer or phosphorous.
I think I'm going to change the system's name. It's not anymore "Alhemist" system... It's "item making system". You can also create great weapons for materials.
Okay, currently I have:
Blue Mushroom - Chapter 3, 9 and 10.
Blue Mushroom - Chapter 2.
Honeycomb - Chapter 1 and 2.
Dragon Roots - Chapter 3
Golem Eyes - Chapter 1 and 5.
Sparkling Gemstone - Chapter 2
Sulfur - Chapter 6
Phosphorous - Chapter 6
I want you, to give me more materials. Also there where this kind of material can be found. For example: "I know new item for this system, Aero! It's sulfur! It can be found from chapter 6 in the dungeon, and in chapter 10 also."
This campaign's maximum level is 50, but you can't be level 50 in chapter one. Every chapter has own maximum level as well. For example, chapter one have 5 maximum level.
I made it to the ending cinematic of chapter 7, and here is the bug:
Cinematic started finely, BUT, when the chosen ones said their last words at the gates of the terdoom castle, the camera went straight to the king's throne room (WHAT ON EARTH!?!?!) and the chosen ones spoke what they had to say and they left, after that the camera went to the gates again BUT, when the potatoe seller came to show and started to offer his potatoes, the camera went again to the throne room! (I've a screenshot of that!) What is this all about?!?! In the older version there was not this kind of bug!
And as always after bug report:
Fix that!
Oh and here is the screenshot!
P.S. It seems like that the offering is in the castle but it isn't - the potatoe seller is outside of the castle itself - at the gates!
In chapter 8 I went the road (almost straight ) and came to the first Waggon merchant place, where is the synthesis shops too! And in there I noticed that: "Hey is this normal?" I noticed that there was a waggon which was in air! What on earth?! Here is a screenshot of it, fix the bug:
By the way I've found another bug but this time I'm sorry I couldn't fast enough to take the screenshot - you know Tharo's set? I gave it to Phodom (combined set, not only pieces of it) and I fought against polar bear, it stunned me alot times, but you know, Tharo's set says: (This is only one part of it!) "Gives 10% chance to summon lightning orb which deals 50 dmg per second to enemy unit, has fast attack speed, lasts 10 seconds when attacking (something like that) (and it continues but we don't need that info now) so I attacked back to it, and it "summoned" the lightning orb... you know why I added these marks: ""? because there WAS no any lightning orb! But still it attacked! And it didn't even lasted only 10 seconds, it lasted the WHOLE FIGHT! It ended just then when the polar bear was dead!!
That's so strange bug!

Idea 3: Make polar bears stun chance lower! It stuns too usually!
So that you don't be too confused which of these bugs/idea the screenshot is it's for the flying waggon bug.

I passed chapter 8 and now I'm in start of chapter 9, everything was fine UNTILL: I had a vitality booster (you know it makes you no need to eat food) in Phodom's second box and now in chapter 9 it has LOST! I mean every heroes second box just buff! Lost for somewhere! I had only first boxes! And all my fine and rare items/sets where lost! Can't the day become any more sad? This is a major bug!
In chapter 10 the Axobadas summons come if you walk behind Axobada but some of them when they almost are dead run away so they block the path and non of the summons can come to you now =\ and this bug is realy annoying
Fradz's spell is a big problem.In chapter 2 & chapter 5,one or two spells(the fifth spell) often lost.Restart form chapter often no effect.
Fix it plz.

Ok, major bugs. There was no SAVE BOXES 2 in chapter 8 which means second boxes are not saved in chapter 8. I add it now, and put a new version soon. +rep for telling a major bug!

Well, that's not a bug because it can be found. Near to icy spider gate... but currently I don't recommend playing chapter 8 because second boxes are not saved for chapter 9.

You are now off of the road - I don't mean the orb system that if you combine the 11 orbs (dont remember their name) I mean Tharo's set!!! With all the parts combined it gives 10% chance to summon lightning orb (FRADZ'S ULTIMATE SKILL!!!) with 50 atk dmg and fast attack speed for 10 seconds!!!!!!! The bug was that when I attacked a polar bear it attacked all time not only 10 seconds and that lightning orb was not visible!!!!! Like it could be invis!
-At the beginning of chapter 6, you can see Galeoth's portrait in the upper left corner, although you can't select him. You also own Galeoth's Second Box, but you can't reach it. (picture 1)
-You can see what happens if Fradz's Flash Strike is interrupted. Also notice that the Sword Dance is missing. (picture 2)
-When you get past the place with lava and get to the actual entrance in Kar'Gath, if you dig it says "You have found HModerate Magic Ball".
-Vitality Booster doesn't work on Second Boxes.
-After you get the cloak of flames at the iron door, you should deactivate the message saying "we should be careful with those strange doors ...".
-You receive damage live you are on lava if you stay close to the walls in this region. (picture 3)
-Again, the riddle questions at the end of chapter 6 did not appear, only the answers. I have an idea how to fix this: You don't put the question above the dialog buttons with the answers. Instead, you ask the questions using a cinematic, as if one of the characters is speaking, and then you show the dialog buttons with the answers. Understand what I mean?
-I think there's something wrong with the alchemist in chapter 7. I went near him with some flowers, he told me they were the wrong ones (and they were) and then it didn't work anymore.
-I've played the tower minigame. It seems a bit difficult to me, maybe it's because the animals walking on the outer lane (that are summoned by the mage that is furthest to the right and also go in the teleport on the right) are hard to reach.
-If you have a magic shovel, you don't need a normal shovel anymore to dig in the locations that do not have rare items, right?
-If you dig somewhere near a temple (chapter 7, east of the marketplace) you find greater mana gem. I want to remind you that you also receive greater mana gem as a reward from chapter 1's epic boss.

Ok, this is most likely fixed(didn't know actually what was wrong).
I will look tomorrow Slid3r's text and tomorrow will be new version, 2.3b. I fixed Fradz's Sword Dance spell bug. It took few hours to find the bug but in the end it was just a minor thing that failed whole thing.
