Teamcoloured attachments-is it possible? [solved]

well anyways, always with the boring backstory first

well i made a attachment model and then few people were like "you should make it team-coloured"
and i was like "attachments cant be team coloured'
then HT was like "nah. i heard that you can do team colour on attachment through certain methods"
then i was like "ORLY?"

well is there a real way of putting teamcoloured attachments?

well i just want to know cos i want to make few sets of armour attachments and if i have the teamcolour as the main surface area, the attachments wont look so clashing when put with different set parts

It depends on the ability you use to attach them with. I think auras work.

Either that, or you can Unit -- Change Color to Color of Owner of Unit whenever it picks up an item (which is what I do, because it's too late to change over forty-odd attachment abilities).

Just for the record, I've also heard (and experienced) that using the ability Life Regeneration Aura (Item ability, IIRC) allows for Team-Color-compatible Attachments.

However, in my most recent tests, it didn't work right. So not sure on that one. Aura's or triggers are a more sure-fire bet, I would think.
